friendly staff, great food & breakfast, rustic atmosphere, fair prices

We had such a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly kind and friendly and made us feel welcome from the very first moment. The food was amazing – especially the free breakfast, which had a great variety and was absolutely delicious. The whole place has a really beautiful rustic vibe, with lots of wood and a cozy, authentic atmosphere. Since we had to leave early for skiing, the team was so accommodating and even prepared breakfast earlier for us, which we really appreciated.

Staying at Momini Dvori Mehana was one of the best decisions we took on this trip. The English Breakfast was the tastiest morning meal we ate throughout the entire trip. Great start to the day! Also, the wooden room in the old hotel was extremely well maintained, and was extremely cosy and comfortable. The staff were very welcoming. Although the hotel is near the central square, it's about a 20-25-minute-walk away from the happening part of town, which is a blessing in disguise because the loud music and noise of the bustle in the higher reaches on Bansko don't reach the hotel. Also, because it's away from the happening part of town, it's also considerably more affordable (money better saved and spent on experiences such as skiing, great local food, and some fun parties/pubs - given that most of the day is spent outside the hotel). Wouldn't even consider staying anywhere else when we visit Bansko again. Great place, great people, great food!

Water was not added to our rooms daily and neither were our rooms cleaned or made up. Maybe I should’ve asked for this specifically, but it’s something that I seem to take for granted in other places.

Decent room, good breakfast, great location

Nice room, good breakfast, great location. Babski was great too, much better than expected. You can rent bikes all over town..I did and cycled the 15km/ 1000m up to the ski resort on a beautiful day. Loved it.

Exceptional hotel for a summer stay

The scented rooms with the rustic cabin feeling was top notch. The rooms were also pretty spacious and clean. Breakfast is at a rather narrow time but if you inform the staff that you're leaving earlier, they can pack you breakfast. Speaking of which, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

These are very minor issues that likely only happen during summer: - reception isn't always staffed during low season - blinds are really thin. This is probably not a problem during winter when the sun rises late. - If there are events in the square, the sound can travel to the room

Charming Stay in the Heart of Bansko

What a lovely place! Perfectly located right in the center of Bansko, this motel combines rustic, authentic charm with all the comforts you need. The rooms are cozy and well-equipped, keeping that traditional feel while still offering everything for a relaxing stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help—truly going out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Breakfast was delicious, and dinner was absolutely fabulous—home-style flavors with a touch of local magic. Definitely a place worth staying, and even more, a place I’d happily return to. Highly recommended!

The only downside was the Wi-Fi, which wasn’t very strong.

Lovely location

We really liked everything about this place. Great services, very comfortable, location is perfect. We chose to spend one night in Bansko on our way back from Greece to Romania, and it was a great experience. The hotel is right in the center, easy access to the old center, restaurants, shops, and museums. We only wish we had more time to explore.

Not something important, but some of the things in the rooms need an upgrade such as the tv and the shower.

Food was poor. Accommodation was poor. My first European holiday was booked through the untrue reviews I paid for 6 nights and stayed 3 nights i expect to be refunded for these nights.

Beautiful hotel in Bansko old town, delicious food and cozy atmosphere.

Room was lovely, so clean and beautiful hotel and restaurant. In the old town so a 15 min walk to the gondola etc, but they provided transfers, we enjoyed the walk anyway! Staff were all so helpful! Food was incredible, huge portions! We will definitely come back.

great stay in old town.

right in the heart of the old town. the hotel was closed when we arrived but after a call and a gentleman arrived quickly and let us in. we were were well past our arrival time.

just that the restaurant was closed but I think we were there in the off season. we found a great place to eat within a two minute walk.

Momini Dvori is perfect !! Guesthouse in traditional bulgarian style with big rooms, comfy and big beds, fridge, heating. Reception very friendly and uncomplicated. All waiters very friendly, every wish was done in seconds. Very tasty and fresh made breakfast, exceptionally good. Everyday another choice. Every day fresh baked bread with homemade jam, always a different jam ! Restauarant was the best in town. In Bulgaria fortunatelly all cov restrictions are canceled - and we was so happy b/o nobody bother us.

Location is perfect very central. Had a car with no trouble for parking. Room was clean and smelled nice too. The restaurant below had very good food. Breakfast was awesome loved it. Room was spacious and always clean. Definitely worth the money

Did not have an ac and you had to open the windows for some air, as the gueat house is located in the village square it can get a bit noisy with the windows open. Maybe blackout curtains would do a better job to block the sun light.

great cosy stay, at the end of city center

great location for summer, just in the city center, good for walking (a bit far from gondola in the winter, if you want to walk); staff vert kind, rooms cosy, food is good. it also looks very good the whole building. it doar have a card to keep a parking place reserved, but is not in the location but around 200m away (here is a pietonal area)

is harder with babies as there are steps in the room and the ceiling is low. it looks very cosy but is harder with babies.

Location, location, location!

The room was clean and cosy, decorated in the typical style of the region: lots of wooden features in the furniture. It had everything I needed: a few hangers, shelves, a hairdryer, a small fridge and a tv. The bed was super comfortable, loved it. The location was five stars: ideal for enjoying the Jazz Festival. There was no air conditioning unit, which I was disappointed about to start with but, on reflection, it would have spoiled the character of the room and building so it is better without.

My initial booking was for 2+1 people but eventually I travelled solo. I struggle to see how this room would be large and comfortable enough for 3 people so I’d recommend you book the apartment or a bigger room for more than 2 people in your party. Staff were pleasant but there was very little interaction with them throughout my stay, which felt a bit odd. I would have liked to have been made more welcome, maybe by staff taking some interest in my reasons for travel and plans, recommending some local attractions or places to eat, etc.
