Cosy and local touch

I liked the warm welcome we received on arrival. We were offered tea while our room was prepared. This is a guest house in a very old building, so expect cuteness and also small scale for modern standards. Although the room was small, the bed itself was wide and okay in terms of comfort. Breakfast and dinner area was very cosy with delicious local homemade food! Free sauna is an awesome facility considering the price. It's basic, not large but was fresh and clean - so enough to relax muscles

Great breakfast, amazing staff

Our stay for this price was more than anyone could ask for. Wonderful staff, GREAT!!! breakfast, and nice facilities. Plus, the property comes with cats.:) Although the hotel itself could be closer to the station (it is about 5-10 minutes away, so not bad, but it is not super comfortable with skis), the staff informed us about the possibility of leaving our skis in a shop 2 minutes from the station, which was great!

It is *a bit* far from the ski station. Small detail, but we would have appreciated hotel slippers.

Disappointment in Bansko!

Location was good!

I did not see anyone at the reception on the arrival despite I informed our ETA for hotel.I got the keys from a lady working for laundry. Thats why we had communication problem. The bathroom needs a major renovation immediately!

The place has a great location and its cozy.

There was an issue with the toilet and it was leaking all night long. The shower head wasn’t functioning properly and was throwing water everywhere.

Authentic cabin vibes in the heart of the city

Charming rustic house with a cool cabin vibe. Situated right in the heart of the city, but hidden from the noise an old square might bring, this house is the right place to be if you want to experience some authentic Bulgarian cabin feeling. The rooms are small, but cozy and very nicely decorated, perfect for a good night's sleep after exploring the area. The staff is very nice, and they really are pet-friendly, unlike other accommodations that have that in the description but are not. A lot of lovely cats are nearby and in the courtyard as well. Heard the food is great as well, will try it next time.

I expected a hair dryer to be in the room, as it says in the description, but you actually have to ask for it at reception, so don't wash your hair in the middle of the night before checking, like I did. The bathroom is small, so the shower is attached directly to the sink and you flood the bathroom floor everytime you take a shower.

Vladimir, you were amazing. The food was the best traditional Bulgarian food I have ever eaten. Room was cosy and traditional.

- the bathroom leaves a lot to be desired, basically the entire bathroom is also a shower - not enough outlets, only two I found, had to unplug the fridge and tv to charge the phones - neighbours were a bit too loud that night

Wish you are good travel season!

It was nice experience in 200 hundred years old house with national design .Staff was really nice and polite. We are sending greetings to Happy - the cat. :) All was nice with feeling sometimes like in dolls house but it is not in bad meaning. Breakfast was good and enought.Thanks for all, we recomend this hotel to travelers which want to feel something traditional.

We were early like said before because we did not know real time from Sofia when we will arrive but staff was accross the streat and it was not a big problem to get in in hotel. We were in hotel in no season that is why arrival time was important.

A Warm and Authentic Bulgarian Experience

We had a lovely stay! I visited with my non-Bulgarian boyfriend, and it was a beautiful opportunity for him to experience some of our traditions. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. One of the highlights was the delicious homemade mekitsi served for breakfast—such a nostalgic treat! The whole atmosphere was warm and authentic. I highly recommend staying here if you want a genuine and heartwarming experience.

The wet room was not included in the pictures on Booking.com for reference and knowing what all the amenities in the room are like. I was ok with it but other potential guests might find it annoying (not for everyone this type of constellation). Made a comment about it for improvement :)

Perfect stay in a traditional atmosphere

We had a perfect stay in Banskovilla! From the first moment we felt very welcome and comfortable. The room was nice, there is everything you need. During nights it was chill so we didn't even use the ventilation which would have been provided (you need to ask, they are not in the rooms, but they are free). The food was really good- breakfast as well as dinner. The buffet for the breakfast had a lot of choices with traditional dishes. Also for dinner there were different menus we could choose from.

Beautiful wooden house, the room was perfect for a single person! I planned to stay one night but I extended my stay here, the breakfast buffet is great and the dinner is also recommend! The staff is super nice and have a very good English, will definitely come back again!!
