I love the location - 5-minute walk from the bus/train station. The town does not have buses, though there are cabs. I just walked to the hotel with my two suitcases after getting off a bus, and walked to the train station when I departed. It is on a very quiet street. I actually enjoyed walking to the gondola to start my skiing every day. I stored my backpack, my own boots and helmet at the Smart Ski Academy, where I rented skis and poles with great satisfaction.
George is very friendly. He upgraded my room to a fantastic suite with everything - two comfortable bedrooms, of which I used only one, a kitchen/dining room, a bathroom, and a refrigerator. The hosts are casual and very accommodating.
I wish we could have used a messenger app to communicate because it is a small hotel and the front desk is not always staffed. I will return to this place if I go skiing in Banso again.

Its a quiet place, located just off the bustling main area, but still convenient, right at the start of the main street. You can street park near the hotel for free, but the host allowed me to park in front of his garage, thank you for extra care.
I walked up the main street to base lift and it took about 20 minutes. What I loved about this, was that I combined my purposeful walk to the lift with the city exploration.
There is a Billa grocery store in the vicinity, and planty restaurants.
The room matches its description accurately - nothing to add, nothing to take away.
