Amazing stay in Bansko

5 min walk from the train station, nice big room, super clean and comfortable bed, great mountain view. I have booked breakfast each day as well which allowed me to be on the slopes much quicker. Breakfast is great and super quick, and right after you can ask for a transfer to the gondola. Alex and his family have been absolutely fantastic, super friendly, very helpful thank you so much! Pri Ani is also an amazing value - I would definitely recommend and will be back

Comfortable and well located place to stay in Bansko

I recently stayed at a charming guesthouse in Bansko for five days during my ski trip, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. This place truly offers great value for money, with the added bonus of stunning views of the Pirin mountain right from the property. The guesthouse includes breakfast, and although there are vegetarian options, the selection is a bit limited. A convenient shuttle service is available to and from the Bansko gondola for a small fee, which makes getting to the slopes hassle-free. What made the stay even more enjoyable was the owner, Aleksandar, who was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The location is also perfect—supermarkets are nearby and the Bansko city centre is only a five-minute walk away. Overall, I highly recommend this guesthouse to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located place to stay in Bansko, especially if you want beautiful mountain views and warm hospitality without breaking the bank.

Excellent value, friendly, welcoming, central to everything

If you are arriving by bus or train this guesthouse is a great option, as it's less than five minutes' walk from both stations. When I arrived I received a friendly welcome from Alexander and his family. I was offered a choice of two rooms, both spacious and bright. Each room had a pleasant balcony and I was happy with my selection of the twin room as it was a bit more spacious and felt extra cosy. The bed and pillows were comfortable with extra blankets if you want them. There was a nice little seating area in addition to the balcony with a view of the mountains. There was plenty of hot water in the bathroom as well as soap and shampoo. There was a TV, a mini fridge which was useful, and a hairdryer. My room was very clean and the cleaning lady does an excellent job of keeping everything immaculate. It was nice to have the panoramic kitchen/dining area at the top floor, which has a kettle and microwave. As many restaurants were closed out of season, I was able to use the kitchen area to do limited self-catering with takeout food from the Billa supermarket nearby. There is also the option to take breakfast at the cafe on the corner just below the hotel if you didn't get it included in your room rate. Overall I really enjoyed my stay. It was perfectly private, quiet and centrally located. Thank you very much to Alexander and family for a memorable visit to Bansko!

They have everything you need: hair dryer, fridge, TV, shampoo, balcon. They have as well shared kitchen. But the best was staff! The guy who works there was very friendly, every day he was preparing breakfast for us and then brings us to skicenter. One guy of our group got injured while skiing, so he couldn’t walk, so the guy who works there was bringing him to the hospital to change bandages and he was waiting for him all the time. He is patient, friendly, nice guy. I recommend 100%!!

Only place in Bansko that views its customers as humans

We didn't really like Bansko because it's a total cash-grab, but this guesthouse was the exception. The host is very welcome and nice, the view from the room is stunning, the beds were comfortable, the breakfast was very nice, the room was very clean and overall it exceeded our expectations!

Some small details like sometimes the shower not having enough pressure (probably water pressure is shared with other rooms) and a slight smoggy scent permeating from outside.

It's a fair value for money especially for those on a budget, but next time I'll try another place.

The hosts were very nice and hospitable, The room was comfortable and the hotel is located right in the heart of town, and my room had a great view. The price I paid for this room was very cheap so I couldn't really complain.

Too many things... 1. I stayed in the same room for a week, and my room was only cleaned once! I don't need my bed sheets changed every day, but cleaning the bathroom every day or every other day is basic! 2. There was no kettle in the room, and with breakfast not served before 8:30am, there is no way you can make a cup f tea or coffee at your own room for free, and without depending on the working hours of the restaurant. 3. There is no way to communicate with the host...no phone in the room, and no contact details anywhere. This is a family run business and there was only 1 man who could speak English. The rest of the family members did their very best to help, but the only English speaking person was only there on the night I arrived and was never seen afterwards. There is no reception in this hotel (basically, a family building with some rooms to rent), so you really can't find someone to contact when needed help or information. They are just there randomly during the working hours of the downstairs restaurant. 4. Bansko is a very safe city indeed, but still... the main door to the building was never locked. I mean, it is nice to never have to worry about the main door, even in the middle of the night if you need to enter, but on the other hand, felt weird to return to my room late at night and basically anyone could enter. Also, when I needed to leave my luggage downstairs before departure, I felt very uncomfortable that there was no way to lock the main door.

The service is the best, clean and spacious room. The hosts did everything to make your stay the best. Nice location, great mountains view from the terrace and free, private parking. We definitely recommend this lovely place.
