Never again

Location was the best thing.

The worst room we have ever been. Its nothing like the pictures. It was too old, no tv, no wifi, no hot water for showering the first night. Didn't changed the sheets or towels for three days. Also the restorant was too loud, we couldn't sleep neither during the day nor at night. As pregnant woman I was even afraid to go down the stairs because of their condition.

I would never repeat here.

The location is very good. The old family house is nice and authentic. The restaurant is good. The wooden construction is warm. The heater system is good even with hard cold outside. It has a good value for the money.

The bathroom is uncomfortable, the shower does not exists, it’s only a hose coming out from the sink faucet and the water goes direct to the bathroom floor. The rooms sharing wall with the restaurant are super noisy as you hear the whole time every conversation of the costumers and at dinner time also the musicians playing. The room is very dark at day. Only one key room is given. The owner is professional but rude with the costumers.

Great place to stay

Great place to stay. The building is very old and quirky, and the room was very cozy. It's in the old town, and is about a 20 minute walk to the ski lift.

It didn't affect me, thankfully, but if you have any sort of mobility issues the low doors and narrow stairs might be difficult.

Authentic experience in the heart of Bansko

This is an authentic place in the heart of Bansko. We had a great stay and the hosts were very kind people. The room was small, but it had everything necessary. It is definitely a different experience cause of its traditional Bulgarian details in the hotel and rooms. You cannot get a better location in Bansko - close to great restaurants, stores and the main street. The breakfast was delicious and fresh. There was Wi-Fi too and it was pretty good.

The bed was a bit too hard for me.

The traditional chalet was cool staff were polite but my 1st room had bed bugs and I got covered in bites after asking the second time to be moved they eventually did I wouldn't stay again just because of this but I was probably just unlucky and second room I didn't have a problem!

Cosy, old style room made of wood and stone. Very clean with hot wood stove. Bathroom's sink made from old copper pot 🍯. Friendly and joyful stuff. Beautiful view in a cosy and stylus backyard. Plenty of hot water 24/7. Steady double bed 🛏️ with hard but comfortable mattress. Key chain made of small sheep 🐑 bell 🔔. In the center of the old Bansko. To sum up, stay in Dedo pene is a life experience that travel you two centuries ago !!!

Theres sure better in the area

Good location. The woman cleaning the rooms was doing her best.

Bad room. Can hear all the sounds from nearby rooms. Smell of urine. When people in the room upstairs were taking a shower, water was penetrating from my ceiling. Low ceiling, terrible if ur more than 1,7m tall. Noisy floor at every step. Overall I felt bad in the room. Also had to ask to get hot water for a shower the day after. But what p*ssed me off the most was the massonic symbols in the place.

Great location in the old town and the house comfortable, with lots of character. Hosts really nice and breakfast excellent.

Public parking area/location could be clearer (more of bansko navigation thing). Parking payment using the URBO parking app.

Nice and helpfull hosts. Authentic Bulgarian house, great to visit for a couple of days. Excellent location. Contrary to our expectations, it was not difficul to find a free parking place near the hotel. Fresh and clean towels and sheets. Spacious enough room for 2. The mattresses are a bit hard, which is ok for me.

Like a journey back in time

Place suited for the perfect authentic local experience. It is like going back in the past, the inn, the tiny restaurant, the inner garden, the rooms, all is traditional. A Bulgarian gem you will for sure remember. I had dinner and breakfast with typical Bulgarian dishes. The lady was super nice, waiting for me by a late check-in (after 9 pm). Perfectly located in the old-down, very close to Bansko main square

Noisy church right next to the accomodation. There is no private parking. You need to rely on public parking which is like 300 meters away and which is quite crowded.

Amazing place with a soul. Everyone was nice, rooms perfect and delicious food. Please remember it's an old traditional house with 5* service but still old beautiful soul. If you like best hospitality it's place for you, but if you looking for gold chandeliers maby better stay somewhere different than leave bad reviews later, as they deserve only best ones. Thank you 😊

Това място е уникално! Носи напълно духа на старите къщи с техния уют! Потапяш се изцяло в атмосферата на стария Банско. Къщата, мястото, хазяите - всичко е чудесно! Хапнахме и в кръчмата към къщата, която също е много красиво, автентично място с прохладна градина. Храната беше много вкусна. Прииска ни се отново да се върнем там, но този път през зимата!🙂
