Exceptional

It is a very nice place, with very kind and friendly staff. The rooms are clean, warm and well ventilated, the bed linen is clean. At the restaurant on the ground floor you can eat very well and very cheaply. The food is always fresh, both at the restaurant and at breakfast. We were there during the ski season and although it is a little further from the ski resort, the people at the hotel were very kind and took us to and from the ski resort for free. In addition, parking is free in front of the hotel. We will definitely choose this location when we return to Bansko.

The room was very clean and very warm. The location was perfect because it was close to the old town centre, only five minutes walk. The staff was pleasant and polite.

The only think we didn’t like was the bathroom because it didn’t have separate shower and as a consequence the full of water every time we had a bath.

They don't speak English. Difficult to communicate. Hot water only until 9.00-10.00 pm in the evening.

The location is nice If you're not a skier, otherwise a little far from the gondolas - but in the quiet part of town, very close to the city center.

No real reception - the reception is at the bar. Stairs everywhere, both to the rooms and "reception", you should have it in mind if you have some disabilities. Couldn't use the sauna, because it was late. Poor sound insulation, we could hear the neighbours all the time. Edit: The owner called me three times just to yell at me for the bad review. Unacceptable behaviour. After that blamed me for staining the hotel's walls, which I did not, they were already extremely dirty. He had to make a point to get back at me, I guess. Reading other review answers from the owner, now I'm not surprised. The hotel was actually OK, as is a 7/10 review, but now I'm definitely pissed with them, wouldn't recommend :)

Good value for money

Very good value for money, the rooms were clean, warm and good size, Continental breakfast from 7.30, not many veggie choices but ok for a long weekend, all freshly prepared, the lady in dining room very nice and helpful, little bar with some selection of drinks, good wines. Free shuttle to the gondolas with Dimitry who's very helpful but can be moody too! Hot springs 10mins away by taxi. Taxis around very cheap. Best to exchange currency in Bansko rather than bring levs. You can pay with Euros almost everywhere too. Many places charge fees for card payments.

We had 4 twin rooms booked, got all on a ground floor, no mountain (or any other) view. The hotel is pretty far away from the ski lifts and the whole ski centre, around 7-8 mins drive. There is a free shuttle offered but the last pick up from gondolas is 4.30pm which we didn't realise on day 1. No shops or restaurants in short walking distance. The bathrooms have open showers, you could smell sewers in some but ok once the doors closed, we didn't spend too much time in our rooms anyway.

Clean and comfortable rooms. We had big rooms, warm and cozy. Good location and very good prices. Over all we had a nice stay.

Staff needs to learn a little bit of English.And to smile more :). The food needs improvement. We found some expired products (butter and cream cheese) but they were replaced. Also about the ski transportation. We had 5 rooms, we were 10 people and in the first two days they asked us to go in groups by 4,4 and 2 just because they didn’t wanted to make more shuttles. This was an inconvenience because we needed to call each other to group when we left the hotel and when we finished skiing. Also they said they have a ski room. Actually it is just a closet. No heating.
