Excellent value for money

Well, it's not a 5* hotel, and not a brand new either, but it was an excellent value for money, at least off-season. Easy to park (paid parking right in front of the entrance, free parking just a short distance away), free spa access, breakfast included, comfortable, cosy rooms - everything was just fine. Also, they have a very nice terrace / garden restaurant for spring & summer season.

The bar could have been open a little longer (it closes at 23.00) ...

Very disappointed!

Location

Nothing has been refreshed for many years! Dark rooms with dirty and old furniture. Small windows in the big apartments. Value for the money is disappointing.

Great place for family with kids!

The location is perfect. The staff is friendly and helpful (especially the receptionist Nadia!) The breakfast is varied and delicious. The spa area was clean. Overall, our experience was positive and we would definitely visit again!!

The water in the pool was definitely not 30 degrees.

Very calm, close to the center, next to the park. Supportive staff. Ping pong and billiard tables.

Balcony Rooms are on the cafe / billiard & ping pong tables side - if you go to bed early and used to sleep with open window - the talks from the area might be disturbing. But only when hotel is full what doesn’t happen that often

Overall good value for the money.

The location is close to the city centre, there was free parking near the entrance 50metres away from it. It was quiet.

Te facilities are quite old fashioned, the breakfast is almost the same every day.

The ¨Standard room¨ does not match the description, it is an attic. The staff refused to replace it with a normal room, even at additional cost.

The A/C is just with on/off function- no way to control the temperature or the speed. The food was poor and tasteless. The waiters were rude.

Close to city center, approx. 30min to hiking trails by foot. Big rooms, nice spa with access from 9:00-20:00. Great Breakfast and nice staff.

he food is very good and varied, even if you will find a lot of cartotasi. I have been to many hotels, but this one is excellent from this point of view. quite clean. I expected more

Very good!

Very well positioned from center, but far from walking to the gondola, the possibility to park for free near the hotel, the hotel staff very kind, including the boy from the hotel's ski rental who waxed our personal equipment for free. Very clean, comfortable rooms, varied, tasty food, well stocked buffet throughout the meal. I liked the hearth and the fire that is made in the evening in the reception, the swimming pool, the sauna, the steam bath are clean and functional. Changed quality robes and towels. I needed some printed sheets and the people at the reception helped every time.

There were no negative aspects, perhaps small improvements to be made, such as:: A bigger pool would be needed, only at certain times (when the skiing ends) it is crowded, but not being a hotel with a very large capacity of accommodation, it is understandable, the lift can be modernized to be faster, the cards the entrance door to the room gives errors sometimes and shutt the ski minibus should work at least until 17.30, not until 17.00, because you have to give up 30 minutes of skiing to catch the last shuttle bus.

An excellent holiday

Before coming to Bansko I had done my homework properly and read all the reviews available on booking. Thus I found out I should take with me a triple plug socket, I did, I was really helpful and I highly recommend it to you. I also read about the hotel masseuse, I booked a massage and she was amazing indeed. The hotel is in a quiet area but really well-connected to anything that might interest you (within walking distance of shops, restaurants, museums) and it provides a shuttle that takes you to and from the gondola. Unfortunately this time (2-8th of January 2023) there wasn't too much snow so we could not enjoy all the slopes (out of 75 km only 2.2 km where available so only one slope was open and it was very crowded) but even so there were plenty of other things to do like shopping, ice skating, hiking, ATV riding and so on. The front desk hotel staff are friendly, especially the two young and beautiful ladies Milena and Ani, who were very kind and efficient and did their best to meet the demands of all guests (and especially of the difficult and even the rude ones as I witnessed). There is a nice fire place in the lobby and I really liked that it is a pet-friendly hotel. The room is clean and spacious and the bed is incredibly comfortable. The pool is not very large but the water is warm and I really enjoyed my time spent there and in the sauna as well. Hot tea is also available. The food was delicious and even those who are picky can find something they might like. All in all I had a wonderful holiday in Gardenia Park Hotel and I would love to come back again in the future.

Even though it is a 4-star hotel, in the restaurant guests have to use disposable plastic glasses, which is not very nice.

A very nice place and very good value for money!

The location is perfect! Not too close to the busy areas, but still a 2 min. walk from the main street of the city. Also the city garden is literally across the street from the hotel. The spa center is also very nice and the staff was polite, friendly and helpful! There is a lovely center of the reception fireplace 🔥

The buffet didn't have a wide variety of foods and the pillows were a bit higher than we were used to.
