Nice traditional B&B

Looks as in the photos, just with flat TV. it is located 2km from Gondola, in a quite street. Host provides free drive to Gondola when we wanted. Charming old building with very nice etno restaurant - convenient for lunch/dinner with good choice and not expensive. Breakfast is in the restaurant on the 1st floor, it was good - one can choose from menu 2 pancakes, or omelette, or baked sandwiches and similar, with one coffee/tea (no honey nor lemon)/homemade airan. Waiters were nice and polite, especially Marija. Walking distance to central old part. Free parking next to it. Clean. We had balcony - didnt use it though, but good for smokers. There are 2 lovely cats sneaking around.

The major issue for me was tiny walls, so I could hear all that my neighbors talked, when they came back to room at 2am or when others went to ski at 6am. Noise and smell: Room was warm enough, but located above kitchen - if I open window I hear loud air-condition working from 8am-22pm, along with smell of kitchen cooking coming in the evening through from the corridor the door during the evening. This resulted with very bad sleeping for me :( Bathroom (as it looks is often in Bulgarian motels, B&B) has no proper shower, even no curtain, i.e. the whole bathroom becomes wet when you take a shower, and there is no cloth to clean it after. Do not expect cleaning during your stay - was not problem for us, but could be if one stays longer. To conclude - you get what you pay for.

This hotel is truly a great value for money. Staying in a historic mansion was a unique and enjoyable experience. Having a room with a balcony was a big advantage, especially for smokers. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options and was quite satisfying. Additionally, having a traditional Bulgarian restaurant on the ground floor with delicious dishes was a wonderful bonus.

On the downside, daily housekeeping would have made the stay much more comfortable. The toiletries should also have been replenished regularly.

Clean and cosy rooms. Did not like the restaurant.

The rooms were cleaner than expected and the bed sheets were very comfortable and nice. The bathrooms were clean but one of the bathrooms did not drain properly when you shower.

The breakfast was awful, and most of the food was old and not tasty. The whole restaurant was not a good experience - it smelled weird and dirty, and the food was not good.

they never wanted to take us to the gondola despite saying we could have lifts whenever. always seemed to busy and had an attitude when we asked to be taken at 7:30 we also didn’t get to choose what we wanted to eat.

A nice and "warm" place to stay..

Hotel was great, the owner and the stuff thread you like a family, rooms was clean, prices very affordable, restaurant has very nice options to try and is cheap, parking it's easy around the hotel and the price for all that was quite good!

The only thing I didn't like was the the shower in the toilet, they didn't have shower cabin so water was all over the place !

Nice place to stay for a couple of nights

It's a nice place to stay. it's quite close to the train station if you travel by train. There is an onsite restaurant, that serves decent food. Breakfast is exceptional, so make sure you try it. It takes about 7-8 minutes easy walk to go to the town center. There are several taverns, museums and historical pieces to see. The cable car to the mountains is about 30-40 minutes easy walk away. Rooms is nice and cozy and has most of the things you might need for a couple of nights stay. We were informed our room is ready about 3 hours before check-in time, which was quite kind.

As we were staying for one night, the place seemed quite fine. Trash bin is outside of the room. Balcony is awesome, but partially quite close to the in-house restaurant. They serve good food though.

We were at the hotel in early May, we were surprised that the hotel is located around the corner from the main street, the location is very convenient. The staff is very friendly, the hotel has a family atmosphere. The waiter and owner speak English which made it very easy to stay there. Separately, I want to note a cozy courtyard with a restaurant, because. in Bansko it is difficult to eat somewhere in the morning, but here it is cozy, quiet and very tasty, the prices are excellent, be sure to try the Bulgarian omelette "Mish Mash" I rate 10 out of 10 and will definitely come back again.

The manager and the whole stuff was very friendly and helpful. The place has a restaurant and the food is really good.

During one of the nights we stayed in, the trash was taken and it was really loud, this might not has to do with the place itself, but for us was disturbing. Also the radiator was making some noise during the night and was waking us up :(

Very cosy studio and great food by the hosts’ restaurant

The studio is spacious and very cosy. The high ceiling features beautiful beams. We loved the traditional Bulgarian touches such as the wood elements of the room furnishings, the rugs and the “Rhodopsko” style blanket. The bathroom was very clean, spacious and there was always hot water. The studio has a kitchenette with a sink, fridge, microwave and a kettle. Dishes, cups, glasses and cutlery can be obtained from the restaurant, which is next door and is run by the hosts. Breakfasts is served in the restaurant and it was delicious. There is a choice between a traditional Bulgarian breakfast or continental breakfast. We had French toast (or as it is called in Bulgarian “parzheni filiiki”) with cheese and jam/honey and we loved it! We had dinner at the restaurant and were very happy with our meal and the service. We loved the location of the accommodation - not far away from the centre of Bansko, but in a quieter part.

A minor recommendation - some washing up liquid and a sponge in the kitchenette would be useful.

Friendliest stay in Bansko!

It's a decent hotel, room wasn't very large, but for 2 people it was enough. All nice and clean. So, for the price we payed, it was really good. But what makes it outstanding, is the host. Everything we needed we could arrange with him: earlier breakfast, delivery and pick-up to/from the gondola. He really is the best host you can get, his can-do attitude and support transforms the 2star place into a 5star one. And let's not forget the restaurant at the ground level of the hotel, where we got the best local food! You can't get wrong if you choose this place!

Would've loved a shower cabin/separator in the bathroom.
