Nice, relaxing holiday!

We liked a lot the breakfast as it had many options and the coffee was quite good. the dinner as well it had many options and many fruits and salads.

It is not negative, but would be good to have fries at dinner as an option, there are many children in the hotel that would enjoy it. We had a stay of 6 days and the cleaning service did not use the vacumcleaner, it was a bit dusty after few days

We had an amazing stay, highly recommended

The staff was helpful and always friendly, probably the best customer service I've had in Bulgaria. The facilities are excellent, especially the spa with the hot pool and jacuzzi outside, several saunas and steam rooms. The spa was very kid friendly but left some quieter areas for adults as well. The gym was one of the best I've seen in a hotel. The food was very good, the location is an easy walking distance from the center but far enough from the crowds. We'll definitely visit again.

Nice hotel to be in Bansko!

This is a Lead by example for Hospitality Management. Every single staff member contributes to the success of the service. From the cleaning lady to the general manager everyone is devoted! Amazing! I will visit again if opportunity arises.

We had a fantastic stay! The food was truly world-class — it was great to have access to snacks and drinks throughout the day, especially with kids. We stayed in a villa, which was spacious, well-equipped, and very comfortable. Even though it was located outside the main hotel building, it was still very convenient. Getting to the spa and pool was easy, and we really appreciated the changing rooms with hair dryers — a thoughtful touch that made things more comfortable. Overall, a wonderful experience for families!

The pool was a bit small and quite shallow — more suited for playing with kids than for actual swimming. While that’s still enjoyable, it would have been nice to have a deeper section for adults. Also, the kids’ animation team didn’t collect parents’ phone numbers, which made it a bit stressful to leave the children, as there was no easy way for them to contact us if needed. A simple communication system would make a big difference in peace of mind for parents.

Great hotel for relax and ski trip

Everything was great! The staff was friendly, food was delicious with many options. The spa area was also amazing - a lot of areas and the outside pool and jacuzzi were definitely the highlight. The location of the hotel is also great - just next to the forest and also quite close to the ski area. Would definitelly recommend!

Very nice and cosy experience

The property was clean and very good-looking. The rooms were spacious. The food was the best we’ve ever had in a Bulgarian hotel. The SPA facilities were clean. The staff was nice and friendly.

We had a wonderful stay, everything was perfect!

During the hotel stay, the meals were really great; each one was delicious and meticulously prepared. The pool and spa area were fantastic. If you have children, they won't get bored at all. A great hotel for both families and couples. The staff are helpful in every way. The hotel location is fantastic. The rooms are clean and newly decorated. The best hotel in Bansko in my opinion. I will go to this hotel again next year. I thank the manager and staff of SPA Resort St. Ivan Rilski for everything. See you again! I'd like to extend special thanks to the hotel manager.

Loved it!

I was very pleased with the facilities in the hotel, because since there was no snow we spent most of the time in the hotel. Very good value for the money we payed. A special thanks to the restaurant manager! The lady exceeded my expectations. She arranged gluten free meals for my daughter the whole stay. She took the matter very seriously and she was very friendly and understanting.

It was not a "all inclusive" stay because all the food and snaks were exclusively in the restaurant, and when it comes to drinks there was only beer and wine outside the restaurant. We had to pay for bottled water, which is not very pleasant.

Avoid ground floor apartments in the villas!

The Spa, Ski rental shop, Lobby bar, Underground parking. Food is OK, but not more than this.

We stayed in the apartment villas behind the main building on the ground floor. It was just awful! The exterior wall of the bedroom is just next to the building entrance door and we heard very loud bangs all the time. In the first day when we arrived, very very tired after more than 1000 km drive in the night time, we could not rest because the wall in the bedroom was shaking from numerous door slams and loud bangs. It was hard to believe this situation. We complained to the reception but no one cared. Also the room was rather basic for un upscale hotel.

The pool was not clean, small choice in the restaurant. The afternoon snack was ridiculous, bisquits, leftovers from the breakfast and absolutely nothing proper for my 2&4 years old kids to eat. No toys in the kids center, the animation is for 4 year olds and older, so what were the others supposed to do?

There was no information of the ingrediants of the food so we can see which is gluten or diary free. There was no pillow suitable for a 3 years old child.

A refreshing & restful stay

We liked the friendly and thoughtful staff, the pleasant surprise of white wine in our bedroom, the cleanliness, the spa facilities, the food buffet and the breathtaking views of the Pirin mountain nearby. An absolute recommendation!

A 4 star family hotel

The room was clean with nice balcony view. Staff was very friendly and polite and the food was fine. I haven't tried the beer from the all inclusive menu, but the wine from it, especially the white one is with very low quality, try the rose one instead. 5 star for the sauna facilities and the gym as well as the massages.

There was a dog in the next room and although it is advertised that the hotel has soundproof insolation, this isn't true. If you are not with your family and you don't have kids or pets and you want a quiet place I can't recommend this hotel. The only aternative is to use ear plugs to sleep or you can easily hear your neighbours singing at 2 am in the morning or the dog from the opposite room barking. Both spa pools are just to sit in them, so if you would like to swim or to be more active in the water you can't do it. In general, this is a very nice 4 star family hotel

Superb

The one-bedroom apartment in the villa was large enough and nicely equipped with utensils. It was warm and sunny. The pools were a little bit small but the water was nice and warm. The massages we did were very nice! Food was plentiful and varied both for breakfast and supper.

The villas are separate from the spa area so in the winter you should dress at the spa center but we knew that in advance so it was not such a big problem. At first we received only one key for the apartment which was difficult for three people but when we asked we were given another one. Then one of the key cards stopped working so we had to do a number of trips to the reception until it was finally fixed.

Amazing spa area

the spa area and outdoor pool is very nice probably the best I’ve stayed in. the food was good rooms was nice.

even with no heating on the room is to hot. we had to sleep with the window open. the shower in the room was terrible the lights in the wc to the lobby are on a sensor that switches off every 10 seconds so you either sit in darkness or continue to wave your hand.
