Clean and simple. Good value for money. I’d stay here again

You can show up at any time, I came past 1am on the first day and still got my keys. The rooms are spacious and clean. Some reviews say it’s dusty - I disagree. It felt clean and hygienic, and I’m picky on these things.

Nothing. Obviously just be aware you’re sharing 2 bathrooms as a floor but both have showers and the facilities are good. There’s even coffee, tea and water for free in the shared hallway of the rooms which is nice.

Before booking it was not very clear that you're sharing 2 bathrooms with different people, but the bathrooms were very nice. The smaller one had an issue do with the water flow from the shower, the drainage was not so good, so the water fell on the floor and there were no extras towels or like a drainage to sweep the water in

Hadley's does not deserve to be called "Bed and Breakfast"; It is more a fancy dormitory.

Quiet and pleasing neighborhood. You can hear birds singing and no traffic noise. The place is nice and feels safe.

Hadley's Bed and Breakfast is more a fancy dormitory than a B & B. It does not deserve to be called a "Bed and Breakfast" because the shared facilities are simply too bad and neglected. The option to make a cup of tea that was advertised is not practically available, because there is only a small number of cups available to share between all the guests in the house. So it is a "first come, first served" logic (and we came late - so no clean cups for us). Furthermore the cleaning of the shared facilities is obviously not on daily basis. It is unclear how often the cups and the tea pots are washed and renewed, but we stayed for two nights and on each morning, there were no cups available for us. We found tea pots with week-old tea leaves inside full of disgusting mould. We got the impression that the cleaning was on Sundays after 8 in the morning, which was unlucky for us since we were leaving by that time. The comfort of the place could be easily be upgraded if every room had their own cups, electric kettle and a mini refrigerator.

Unique, comfortable place, good value.

Loved the old building and artsy furnishings. Very quiet, comfortable and centrally located. Good price value.

I had trouble opening the lock box when I arrived. Luckily I got a very helpful and quick reply when I contacted the host. Would have been difficult if I didn’t have cell service. Also the toilet in my room had a strange smell.

Ein kleines Juwel im Herzen Hamburgs – charmant, zentral und einfach zum Verlieben

Ich war begeistert vom Hadley's B&B. Das Haus hat einen einzigartigen Vintage-Charme und eine sehr ruhige und zentrale Lage. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich und stilvoll eingerichtet. Der Gastgeber war sehr herzlich. Es ist perfekt für alle, die das Besondere suchen und die Gemeinschaftsbäder für diesen besonderen Charakter in Kauf nehmen.

Tolles Zimmer in geräumiger Altbauwohnung mit viel Charme und mitten im Uni-Viertel

Sehr schönes und geräumiges Zimmer, bequemes Bett, gemütliche Sitzecke, viele Bilder und Bücher. Wasserkocher und leckerer Tee im Flur. Zwei Bäder für die Gäste. Sehr gut gelegen, wenige Schritte zur Bushaltestelle der Linie 5 Richtung Universität, Bf. Dammtor und City.

TV etwas schlecht eingestellt, unsortierte Sender, man muss lang suchen. ARD das erste nicht verfügbar. Aber das ist nicht so schlimm.

Nicht modern aber zentral mit guter Anbindung an ÖVP - keine Pkw Parkmöglichkeiten

Das Zimmer war geschmacklich gut ausgestattet und hat mir gefallen. Das Mobiliar ist allerdings schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Bad und Dusche über den Gang auch für andere Zimmer auf dem Flur, aber sauber und geräumig. Begehbare Dusche. Einer der beiden WC-Räume hat kein Fenster und ist deutlich kleiner.

Das Hauptproblem: Es gibt direkt am Haus oder in der unmittelbaren Nähe keinen Parkplatz. Wir mussten unseren Wagen ca. 400 m entfernt in einer Straße parken, wo das Parken nur am Wochenende möglich ist. Innerhalb der Woche gibt es wohl im Umkreis keine Parkmöglichkeiten.

die Unterkunft hat uns sehr gefallen.

Die Wohnung ist sehr ansprechend, stilvoll eingerichtet, liegt im Innenhof, absolut ruhig, man hört nichts vom Verkehr. Sehr gute Busverbindung, die Haltestelle ist in 2 min zu Fuß zu erreichen. Mit dem Bus ist man in 10 min im Zentrum oder am Bahnhof. Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit mit den Tipps für den Aufenthalt in Hamburg. Wir haben uns gleich willkommen gefühlt.

Der individuelle Stil macht Spaß und lässt den Alltag vergessen

Wir suchten für ein paar Tage Auszeit eine nette kleine Unterkunft, in der wir uns wohl fühlen können, etwas Privatraum mit Sofa, Tisch und Tee genießen können und eine zentrale und ruhige Lage haben. Das haben wir bei Hadley's Bed & Breakfast bestens vorgefunden. Die individuelle Einrichtung hat uns Spaß gemacht und half uns, aus dem Alltag in ein wohltuendes Ambiente zu wechseln. Für Urlaubs- und Kulturtage in Hamburg bestens geeignet. Frühstück war frisch, abwechslungsreich und lecker. Es gibt für drei Doppelzimmer zwei saubere Badezimmer. Das schien uns völlig ausreichender Komfort.

Ein bisschen mehr Küche wäre noch schön zum Wohlfühlen, also eine Spüle und Grundausstattung wie Besteck, Teller, Gläser.

Ich fand die Atmosphäre sehr angenehm und habe mich wohl gefühlt.

Ich fand die Einrichtung sehr liebevoll und ansprechend und das Zimmer wunderbar geräumig. Das große Fenster und der Blick in den Garten haben mir gut gefallen.

Ich fand das Zimmer sehr hellhörig, so dass ich aufgrund von Lautstärke und Geräuschen extrem früh aufgewacht bin. Die elektrischen Geräte, wie Wasserkocher waren recht verkalkt und im Bad fehlten ein paar Kacheln.

Danke für die schöne Übernachtung

Durch einen kleinen Fehler kam es dazu dass wir zuerst nicht das richtige Zimmer erhielten. Stress kam nur auf weil niemand erreicht wurde. Jedoch nach 10 Minuten kam jemand persönlich und bereitete das andere Zimmer schnell vor.
