The only place to stay in Bad Gastein!

I’m in love with Regina. What not to love with this hotel and their staff?! The atmosphere, the rooms (especially the ones with balcony - amazing view, spacious, comfortable beds, quiet), very good breakfast. The restaurant is great. Personnel very friendly and helpful.

Lovely place

Every single stuff team member has been extremely nice, polite, and helpful. The hotel itself shows many historic and ancient items. Breakfast was rich and delicious, offering a wide variety of bread and a fantastic coffee. As it was heavily raining in the evening we spent the evening in the hotel bar/lobby, which I rarely do in other cases. To be honest, the bar in Regina hotel ist one of the most cosiest places in Gastein. Make sure to spent some time there.

They could add an electric kettle for the room.

Pretty, chic, inviting and tastfully decorated hotel that makes you feel at home. In every aspect it is a great place to stay at. The frendly and polite staff, the beautiful view, the food, the location and the amenities. All just simply great.

Simply a great place to spend a weekend

The Hotel is a bit old but has great style, and taste. The bar and restaurant atmosphere make you comfortable immediately and serve great food and wine. The small private cinema is fabulous for watching a film after dinner, old school style. However, what makes this place special are the people who run the hotel. From the moment we walked in we felt welcomed and in this respect, absolutely everything was above any expectations. Even though the hotel may lack some amenities the whole experience was far superior to many more expensive higher-rated hotels.

Family ski

fabulous hotel - eclectic furnishings, unique and a change from generic hotel chains! staff were fabulous, nothing was too much trouble. Food was glorious too and late breakfast is super. the triple room was fabulous and super for our teenage son to have a proper bed not the usual flimsy sofa bed.

walk to main lift is uphill so won’t be for everyone but bus stop if close if you want make the hill.

A bit expensive for what you get

Great location in the heart of BadGastein. water fall in 5 mins walk. Bus station 3 mins walk. staff are very friendly and helpful. Style is rustic and vintage

One restaurant only that serves food at specific times (7pm for dinner). A la carte menu quite expensive. There is no lobby as mentioned on the pictures nor a fireplace. The only place you can sit is the restaurant itself( which is quite small anyway) No kettle for what heating , if you want a cup of tea before bed you have to order at the restaurant (at high charges)

Nice hotel with amazing view. You can spend time in beautiful bar with glass of wine. Hotel is dog friendly . Nearby a lot of places for eat if you don’t want any eat at hotel restaurant. Parking on site.

A gem and a great place for your four-legged friend to join

I spent three days here with my parents and Great Dane. Jason, Konstantin and the team were spectacular and took great care of us. I can't wait to come back for ski season.

Only that it was hard to read in the rooms with the "mood lighting" but whatever. There were other places to read.

Enjoyed our short stay, loved the town, was the perfect location but not sure I would return with my children.

Hotel was a perfect location. Hotel was clean, trendy comfortable & the staff were welcoming. food in restaurant was excellent! breakfast was great!

The hotel is very beautiful and it feels cosy. There is a small cinema theater. The breakfast is great. The staff is very kind and gave us plenty of advice.

Staff was extremely friendly. A very nice gentleman in the evening and a friendly lady in the morning at the reception were both very helpful and super nice! Breakfast was also fresh and yummy.

Beautiful place to stay for couple of days in summer either with family or on your own

The location is perfect - five minute walk from main attractions (waterfall, etc.). The hotel is old but it is such a cozy place. Breakfasts are ok but dinners is something special- menu is mastered to perfection.

As the building is old the wooden floors are creaking when somebody is walking through the corridors or in the rooms, the water pressure in the shower is unsatisfactory, maybe because of old fashioned piping system.
