Wonderful Stay with Beautiful Views — Already Booked Again

We stayed for 4 days as 3 adults with a dog and had a truly wonderful, uncomplicated stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We also appreciated the daily towel change, toilet paper refill, and garbage emptying — everything was smooth and well organized. The apartment is beautifully and modernly furnished, and we especially loved the rain shower with great water pressure. The natural cosmetic toiletries were an additional lovely touch. The kitchen is equipped for basic cooking, and we appreciated that there was already salt and pepper available. The bar/café is cozy and tastefully designed, the coffee was excellent, and the brownies were absolutely amazing. The location is fantastic, with a stunning view of the waterfall that made our stay feel extra special. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and we already booked our next stay there.

The only small downside was that the mattress was a bit too soft. And one tiny improvement for the kitchen would be the addition of a good bread knife.

Best luxury boutique hotel in Bad Gastein

Bad Gastein is known for belle epoque luxury hotels, but most of them abandoned since years. Residenz Boutique Suites blows new life into Bad Gastein - the old Imperial hotel at the very central location is spotlessly renovated, modernized and redesigned combining belle epoque style with modern luxury and contemporary art. Suites are spaceous, clean, modern, have high ceilings, incredible panoramic views at the waterfall and the beautiful buildings - like Hotel del Europe, Straubinger. We had a suite with small balcony and celebrated New Years’s eve - view was breathtaking. Location allows to walk the paths of emperors Franz Jozeph, Wilhelm I and II and explore the places that inspired Schubert, Strauss, Freud, Nietzsche and others. Facilities are spotless, have complete kitchen, living room area and comfy beds. Personnel is very friendly and welcoming. There is a nice bar downstairs. Parking is 1 min walk right next to the hotel, ski lifts and ski rentals / shops are 3 min drive. Hotel also has space for ski equipment. We loved it and will certainly come back again!

We have not experienced anything as a “minus”, however it’s good to note that there is no restaurant and no breakfast at the hotel. Hence remember to do some groceries and plan accordingly.

Fell in love with this place

Really pet-friendly place, clean, quiet. Kind and attentive staff. Cosy cafe with tasty cocktails. Incredible reconstructed building.

During the summer season, breakfast isn't available in the hotel, but this is not a problem, as a fully equipped kitchen is provided in the room, and there are many cafes nearby.

Excellent and comfortable accomodation in Bad Gastein.

Very high spec and comfortable accommodation, well equipped and near the centre of Bad Gastein. Staff were very helpful and friendly, nice bar downstairs. Good soundproofing so couldn’t hear noises from upstairs/ next door apartment. Relaxing sitting outside on the balcony. Parking was not a problem and the staff had photos to help us locate it.

It was warm when we stayed so needed to keep the windows open at night. Some guests were talking on their balcony one night at 2am-4am which woke us up. It would not have been a problem if we didn’t need the windows open due to the heat. Not the fault of the property as they are clear on quiet hours just some guests chose to ignore it.

Clean, the staff was very kind and helpful, the bed is comfortable, check in and out very easy, parking is free located near by the hotel, there is daily cleaning.

Hope that there is a washing machine for clothes.

Amazong stay in front of waterfall!

High hospitality and welcoming from the team, the person supported me in ordering the pizza. The welcoming tasty water, the coffee machine and new style design of the hotel.

This should not impact the rating, the ease of access and you need to take the exact coordination to reach the hotel.

Incredibly beautiful hotel with really beautiful views and place; super convenient for ski bus.

Location was good and incredibly beautiful; the staff were really warm and friendly and helpful! They helped us book a private ski instructor etc. The hotel room was well designed.

Breakfast meal was great- but surprised that coffee wasn't included for the price and we had to pay extra and we were not aware of this at the time we ordered them. Also the table for breakfast was too small to accommodate the food so a bit awkward.

This place is fabulous! So stylish yet modern comforts and a great mix of independence with some great facilities such as the breakfast and bar area. Staff were super helpful, kind and welcoming. Proper Austrian hospitality. You won’t find a nicer place in Bad Gastein
