Hotel Germania Gastein - ganzjährig inklusive Alpentherme Gastein

Very pleasant stay, spacious room with a balcony, and a delicious breakfast with a wide variety of food. The Alpentherme (included in the price) is a must-visit – there are indoor and outdoor pools with warm water, an additional swimming pool, and swimming lake. Everything was perfect! I highly recommend the Germania Gastein Hotel.

This place was a great stopover on our road trip from the Czech Republic to Italy. It’s located close to the main road, so there was no detour needed. We had a gorgeous view of the surrounding mountains from the terrace and received a Gastein Card, which we used for a discount on the cable car. The staff was friendly and the accommodation was clean.

I wouldn't say I didn't like it, but we had a small kitchenette with a two-burner stove and a sink in the room, and I would have appreciated some drinking glasses or plates for food.

A traditional hotel well located in Bad Hofgastein and the breakfast was excellent.

The location is amazing and the staff is lovely and very accommodating. The Spa card and public transport cards are very handy to have.

they were not prepared for guests. They had apparently only opened 3 days before we arrived. There was no bath robes, slippers or proper toiletries available. The water in the bathtub ran yellow the first night. So clearly it was not used for some time. There were not even glasses in the room. It was also not possible to pay by card as it was not ready yet, but it did not say that anywhere. The breakfast was good but it was evident by the set up, that they were not ready for guests. The staff was very lovely and apologetic, the management really let them and the guests down. The Hotel also really does need the renovations it postponed.
