Amazing Location, View and Breakfast!

At first I was given a budget single room although I upgraded to a superior single room through booking. The front desk Lady was really nice and offered me an upgrade to a Beautiful double bed room. It is in a really old Building and it has its charm. The rooms are pretty basic but comfortable and have everything one needs. The view was amazing! The lift is old and really small but it does its job. The Breakfast is amazing with options of freshly made egg dishes. Almost everything is organic and/or local. It is a bit hard to find the parking so Id recommend contacting the host when you get there. All the staff was really helpful and friendly. The location is amazing - you are in the center of the town but it is reachable by car. Id recommend choosing your room at first and not trust booking to contact the host about further upgrades. 100% recommendation from me!

Superb stay during the Infinite Trails race

It was super kind, that breakfast was served at 4am for the runners of the Infinite Trails 2022 race. The breakfast was great and also included a lot of homemade ingredients. Location in Bad Hofgastein is superb and the staff is very nice.

Good location within pedestrian zone at the city center. No car really required as ski bus covers all necessary movements. Very nice evening illumination. Many restaurants near the hotel.

Breakfast very simplified. It's impossible to have three type of eggs only every day. Ski room looks too small. It will be a problem when hotel is full of skiers.

It's a perfect place to stay in Bad Hofgastein, seems to me a family run place and the rooms very super clean and looking on the the beautiful mountains. The breakfast is small but served with a lot of care and love. It's a perfect place to spend your time in Gastein. Incredibly close to the Alpen Therme and main beautiful but tough hike to Gamskogel.

Mycket trevligt familjehotell med otroligt fin frukostbuffé. De lagar äggröra/blåbärspannkakor/äppelgröt/omelett på beställning och man sitter alltid vid samma bord. Mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal.

Sängarna saknar bäddmadrasser och är rätt hårda. Vi fick ont i ryggen då vi är vana vid mjuka sängar.

+ das Personal, die familiäre Atmosphäre, Bernhard bemüht sich echt mit jedem in Kontakt zu kommen + wunderbares Frühstück mit allem, was das Herz begehrt + Zimmer (33) verglichen mit anderen Hotels groß + Kühlschrank im Zimmer + Kaffee und Tee im Stüberl zur freien Entnahme + Digitale Info Mappe + Lage mitten im Ort, alles fußläufig erreichbar + Parkplatz beim Hotel + Altbau Charme kombiniert mit modernen Elementen, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet + Trotz Zimmer direkt beim Stiegenaufgang nur wenig Lärm bis ins Zimmer + Der Hinweis auf Umweltressourcen beim Verzicht auf Reinigung

Ich gebe ehrliche 9 Punkte, mir fehlen allerdings 2 Dinge, dann erreicht das Haus Friedrichsburg die 10/10 :-) Der Rest ist Jammern auf hohem Niveau - Heizung nachts abgedreht Wenn man abends von der Therme (oder aus der Dusche kommt) und die Sachen zum Trocknen am Handtuchtrockner aufhängt, wird es bis nächsten Morgen nicht trocken, da nachts die Heizung abgedreht ist. Im Zimmer hält man sich jedoch meistens nur abends/nachts auf - Vorhänge nicht abgedunkelt (!!) In der Adventszeit mit der Beleuchtung rund herum und generell ist in einem Hotel die Möglichkeit zum Abdunkeln ein MUSS, was hier definitiv vernachlässigt wurde. Es war die ganze Nacht hell im Zimmer (siehe Foto, gemacht um 3:30 Uhr. Bitte Jalousien oder Verdunkelungsvorhänge (mit Klettstreifen zum Ankletten an die Wand) anbringen - mich wundert es, dass dieser Mangel bisher in keiner einzigen Rezension angemerkt wurde. - WLAN vorhanden, jedoch instabil

Perfekt für den vollen Bah Hofgastein Flair

Ein Hotel im altmodischen Stil, was einige bekritteln mögen, für uns hat es jedoch genau zum Bad Hofgastein Erlebnis gepasst. Wir hatten ein Appartement im Dachgeschoss mit toller Aussicht über den Ort, das Frühstücksbuffet lässt keine Wünsche offen, man kann sogar alle Eiervariationen und Pancakes frisch bestellt. Die Dame, die sowohl Frühstück als auch die Rezeption betreut hat, war sehr lieb. Parkgarage in der Nähe mit reservierten Parkplatz war ebenfalls top. Sogar ein personalisierter Gruß erwartete uns bei Ankunft mit Nikolaussackerl, total süß!

Das Bad wirkt aufgrund des Alters schon etwas heruntergekommen, sauber war es jedoch trotzdem.
