Good room and value for money

The room was clean, a good size, with a balcony and amazing view.

By choice we only used the room for 6 days, paid for 7, not an issue. We had informed the hotel of this amendment. However check in was at a different hotel and we were ‘told off’ for not going to breakfast on the first day. We were told that a different table would have to be found every day which would have been inconvenient for the hotel.

Amazing hotel in Bad Gastein

Eden Rock is just breathing history. Built a long time ago by the Italians is as impressive now as it was back then. It is now modern but still very welcoming with all you could need for a perfect stay. The breakfast is amazing with lots of options from protein rich to indulging. The Pizzeria restaurant is very good and perfect for a relaxing night without leaving the premises. Of course the room was spot on every day with a touch of magic from the caring staff 😁. Not to forget it is very easy to climb to the main street and reach the Skilift in minutes!

It is hard to find something we did not like. We were really impressed by the hotel especially considering the price.

The property was nice and clean with a good location and the staff were helpful .

We thought and talking to other guests that the rooms could really do with a kettle tea and coffee.

All in all a good hotel, but some small improvements could go a long way.

Very nice rooms, good breakfast with most things you can wish for, the staff met my requests in regards to room layout, close to most things in town, free parking and charging of electric vehicle.

From what we could see there was no ventilation in the room (only one in the bathroom that seemed to run sporadically when the light was switched on), so therefore we felt like we had to keep the balcony door open to not suffocate in our sleep, but then there was the issue of people partying and screaming in the streets all night long. So I think that some proper ventilation or a/c is needed in the rooms? 3 mornings we got woken up by the cleaner unlocking our door and stepping in before seeing that we were still in bed and then leaving again. Fair enough if this was in the middle of the day, but this happend at 7, 8 and 9am, which I don’t think is an unreasonable time to still be in bed. Maybe knock first to see if anyone is in the room if you have to start cleaning at 7am? Bread rolls at breakfast were quite dry and hard, maybe they were made the day before, or maybe they were just all put out at the very start of breakfast so that they were a bit stale by the time we made it to breakfast (8.30)? Fresh bread is what makes a breakfast IMO. A cutting board is needed for the bread, everyone had to cut the bread rolls in their hands which feels like an accident waiting to happen.

Gorgeous Hotel in the center of Bad Gastein

Gorgeous Hotel in the hearth of Bad Gastein just a few meters away from the cablecar station and the famous waterfall, After a long hiking trip you are able to enjoy and relax in the SPA which has a beautiful panorama to the mountains. In most of the cases the staff was friendly and helpful.

The bartender was a really unfriendly dude.

Walking up the road/"hill" to the busstation. The hotel should have arrange a mini bus to the hotel guests so they don't need to walk up that steep road to be able to get to the lifts. It's enough for the mini bus/van to be available during morning hours. Would have been awesome service.

Silvester im Eden Rock

Wir hatten ein wunderschönes Zimmer, eine grandiose Aussicht und das Hotel hat uns insgesamt sehr gefallen. Das Hotel hat seinen Charme und ist sehr gut gelegen.

Leider gab es zum Frühstück so gut wie immer dasselbe und der Käse und das Gemüse waren jedesmal schon leicht wellig und trocken. Eine Reservierung zum Abendessen ist uns nicht gelungen, vielleicht lag es auch an Verständigungsschwierigkeiten.

De locatie was prima. Een mooi luxe hotel

Ontbijt werd niet echt aangevuld dus als je rond 08:30 ging ontbijten waren er al wat dingen op. Daarnaast moesten we van andere horen dat er een badgastein kaart was en een kaart om gratis moet het openbaar vervoer te reizen. Had leuk geweest als we deze informatie direct bij aankomst hadden ontvangen.

En fräscht hotell på bästa läge med fina rum.

Ett mycket fräscht hotell i bästa läge, rekommenderas varmt. Vi bodde 4 personer i ett 6 bäddsrum med två badrum, helt perfekt, gott om plats och mycket förvaring.

Frukosten var helt okej, inge fel på den men man tröttnade lite efter ett par dagar. Jag hade önskat lite större variation i utbudet av bröd.
