Such a wonderful experience at the top of Zurich. My husband and I were so lucky to get a room upgrade and got a room with a balcony and view. We were staying during the moon eclipse and it was fantastic to witness it from the balcony.
The spa was also exceptional and relaxing and we were able to have it all for ourselves too.
The staff was very welcoming and friendly and ensure that our needs were met.
If you plan to visit Zurich downtown in the evening, just know that the transportation to the hotel is limited after 23:00 as cars are not allowed in the last part of the mountain.

Views were great. Staff were great. Rooms clean.
After day 1, the incline walk to the hotel was tedious. You have to pay for the train / train pass to get here. No passes or discounts are given.

I liked everything about the location. We were provided everything we would need in a holiday, from breakfast meals to grandiose views. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly too!

Astonishing view -fun to arrive on the little train.
No air con. Very unhelpful Receptionist ;she appeared to be totally uninterested in providing information. When we arrived at the little station from which one walks up to the hotel ,guests are asked to telephone the hotel to arrange luggage pick up…Reception didn’t answer. Luckily for us a hotel employee arriving for work called and organised luggage pick up. When asked about taxis/uber she just replied ‘she didn’t know’.
