Perfectly located to explore Zurich from. The staff were very helpful with helping our stay to be as comfortable as possible. The breakfast staff were great also. A really nice breakfast to start the day.

A pleasant stay in Zurich.

Staff was very friendly, especially the lady in charge of the breakfast. Rooms were clean and when I asked to lower the heat in our room, it was taken care of right away. Very close to the train station.

The coffee and tea availability in the room was really nice! The check-in went well and the location is great.

It was way too hot in the room for me. Otherwise, I was a bit frustrated that I needed to ask for an invoice multiple times.

Very nice mid-range hotel in central Zurich

The hotel is in a great location near the train station, restaurants, bars etc. and next to the polybahn that takes you up the hill to the university. The rooms are modern and very comfortable. Breakfast was simple but with very good choices and coffee (and staff!).

Very convenient and comfortable stay.

The hotel was perfectly fine - very serviceable. There was nothing much to differentiate it, it was all exactly as advertised and as we expected. There were a couple of lovely touches, like a tea station in the reception lounge offering a variety of teas with options of honey, lemon, rick sugar etc. There was also a basket of apples and a selection of lollies (candy) you would help yourself to. The hotel also offers a menu of pillows you can request.

The room was hot and stuffy, but fortunately the windows open.

Location great.

The location was great being mere meters from the main train station. It was also walking distance to the main attractions. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had nice amenities. The room had a coffee machine and kettle which was great. Shower was good. Staff were professional and efficient. The breakfast was adequate, although nothing spectacular.

As with previous reviews, the room is quite stuffy and can get very hot. I just opened the window overnight and managed okay in the end.

Good value for the money, enjoyed the stay.

The location of the hotel was very good, very easy from Zurich HB and other transports to and from hotel. The breakfast staff was very good and breakfast was a very good. Hotel staff was very service oriented, addressed our needs and addressed issues with room very quickly.

The hotel room as little smaller than excepted, but workable. There is no air-conditioning in room and a little noisy sometimes when window was open. There we a number of small issues that were addressed by the staff; room was warm, so they provided a good size fan, the safe was not operational until fixed the next day, pants hanger was broken and replace quickly, couple of other things needed attention but quickly addressed by staff. There were no power outlets next to either side of bed, so moved phones and watches to table... a little inconvenient but made it work.

The location of this hotel was perfect for us. It was close to train station so you can walk from the train. There were a lot of restaurants close to hotel

A nice hotel with great breakfasts. Gets very hot in the room.

The location is great, the breakfast is very good, everything is new and clean.

It was extremely hot at night - we barely slept. It is loud if you open the windows, and with them closed, it is super stuffy. The AC was blowing warm air even when set for cold. The blankets are extremely hot. Everything is amazing but we had a very poor sleep due to how hot it was, which negatively affected our experience overall.

Good for just one night.

The location of the hotel. Breakfast spread and it starts early. Generally, is clean and acceptable.

Bathroom and bed. Bed is not comfortable, it sinks in. Room is not really equipped with proper toiletries, shower gel was finished, the room is very basic. Shower area is dark without proper lighting too. The hotel cleaner also went into my room even though I had the DO NOT DISTURB hanging on my door knob. The staffs aren't really friendly. I wonder if it's discrimination towards the Asian.

Very pleasant overnight stay in central Zurich hotel

Lovely hotel, close to central train station, room was clean and compact for our one night visit. Very close to old town, restaurants and bar! Breakfast selection was excellent.

Room became very hot during the night and opening the windows made room noisy.

Would not stay if bed is against the wall.

Did NOT like the bed against the wall. My husband is disabled & I have bad knees. Climbing in & out of the bed was horrible. I asked for another room, & they couldn't accommodate.

Great little place in the heart of Zurich.

Great location and the room was large, well appointed and with a good view over the roofs of Zürich. The bathroom was also large with a walk-in shower with plenty of space for 2 people to get ready in the morning. The breakfast buffet had a good selection. They don't put out too much food to keep it from having to be thrown out at the end and encourage to order freshly prepared eggs and breakfast foods. The hotel is newly renovated and everything is clean, modern and well thought out. The staff is friendly and professional. The location is less than 10 min from Hauptbahnhof and 3 min from Central where you can catch all the train, tram and bus connections thru town and country. The old town is right outside the hotel and all kind of restaurants, bars and shopping is within easy walking distance.

The in-room coffee and milk weren't filled every day, a small oversight but we love our first cup in the morning.

Excellent location,

Excellent location, right by the main tram terminal and short walk to train station. Well placed to walk to the lake and other main sights. Very spacious room, slightly quirky style which we really liked. Comfortable beds, good shower and nice and quiet...slept very well. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was basic, but does the job ! Does get busy so worth getting up early as they did run out of things sometimes. A welcome bottle of wine was a nice gesture!

I like the location of the Hotel. I have stayed there many times since 2005. But I dont know now

When I arrived after 8 on the Monday I was booked into a room above the bar, not as requested..three months ago. Lady on duty knew nothing about my request. The lady was grumpy about trying to find me another room..I was given another..not the best. And there were NO towels in the room . I walked downstairs to ask for towels..guy on duty was not friendly. Gave me two old bath towels.

Staff wasn’t welcoming. Fine but not friendly. We chose this hotel because it advertised air conditioning. It barely operated and a sign that said it was summer and air conditioning was trying does not excuse the lack of air conditioning.

Great location and breakfast, a very nice facility!

The hotel is close to the train station and located in a great part of town. You can't hear the trains and it is a short walk to the hotel. The staff is wonderful and glad to help. The airconditioning is not the best. The staff did provide fans to help offset that. The breakfast is very good.

A Great Stay! Good location and friendly staff.

Location was great! Clean and comfortable room. Several eateries around the location. Good breakfast. Friendly staff and they were able to accommodate my request for a later checkout. Truly appreciated that we were able to rest longer in the room before we checked out to take our train to the airport.

Insufficient socket points. Google map showed a longer route to reach the hotel that made it more difficult to navigate with luggages. Friendly staff shared with us on the easier route to take and it was more manageable when we checked out with our luggages to get to the train station.

It was close to the Tram. It was clean.

The bathtub/shower was slippery and climbing in and out was difficult. The location is in a cluster of hotels with bars close by. Lots of people were blocking the sidewalks just standing around.
