Superb accommodation but lack of staff personality or interaction

This was our 3rd time staying in this hotel for our February ski holiday. We love the rooms and the pool which is a welcome spot to relax after a day of skiing. The fact that the bus stop is right behind the hotel to get to the Maiskogel lift is ideal! The lunch / dinner in the restaurant is absolutely fabulous the new chef definitely did good there. The beds are the most comfortable out of all the hotels we have ever stayed in all over the world. 👍🏼👍🏼

The fact that we were there for the 3rd year running it was sad to see that every single year the staff is completely different. Last year was definitely the best with Bennie being an amazing host and really did what you expect in a family hotel. He genuinely showed an interest in the guests and you felt like coming home after a day of skiing. Also the staff at the desk and wait staff made an effort to talk to you and make you feel welcome. This year the check in involved me filing out a form , was giving the keys and off we went. No interaction. No welcome back. It all felt very cold. I saw the note in the key envelope which informed us that the desk was closed at night. Does that mean that anyone can just walk in? That would be worrying with so many families with young children staying there. Hopefully that’s not the case. Last years a staff member would take any orders of hot drinks at breakfast at the table but this has been replaced by a coffee machine which is fine but the drip tray would be dripping all over the floor most mornings and there was very little staff looking into what needed to be replenished or cleaned up. I did see staff standing in the line with guests getting their breakfast which I find unnecessary at peak times.

Perfect place to stay for a ski trip to Kaprun

Good location close to the centre of Kaprun. Very comfortable and clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff.

Beautiful Mountain Lodge

In the heart of Kaprun, walking distance to Alpin Centre (main chair lifts) , generous size apartment rooms, kitchen well equipped, super quite and warm. Restaurant lovely

The property really needs a washing machine & dryer facility for guests. When staying a week and skiing you need access to this service as using a typical hotel service is not practical. There was no outside service anywhere nearby.

Absolutely amazing hotel, rooms and facilities. Friendly staff helped with everything. Amazing underground parking and delicious breakfast and coffee. Best views from the rooms.

We stayed in November, so the temperature of the pool should be warmer as it was slightly cold. Clothes free sauna area not very family friendly. Should have designated hours for families.

Amazing stay in comfy apartment with amazing mountains view

Clean and well equipped apartment. Very spacious and clean as well. The stuff was amazing and breakfast was one of the best we had in a long time. Easy garage parking and amazing wellness and spa area made our stay one of a kind. Highly recommended :)

For that kind of luxury property the extra parking and baby set (crib+chair) fee is really not necessary. That should be included in price.

Best choice in Kaprun

This is a wonderful hotel — in reality, it’s even more beautiful than in the photos. The heated outdoor pool is fantastic and can be enjoyed even in cold weather. The waterbed in the wellness relaxation area was a pleasant surprise. The rooms are spacious, and the beds are very comfortable. Breakfast is plentiful with a huge variety of options. The staff are professional and very kind. I’ll be happy to return next time!

The bathroom could have been a bit larger, but that’s just how it is.

It’s clean from inside.

1. Room Issue: I booked a mountain view room more than a month ago, but I was given a house view room when I arrived. The hotel said they were fully booked, but I feel this shouldn’t happen since I booked in advance. 2. Summer Card Issue: The booking said I would get a Summer Card included, but when I arrived, they told me I had to pay for it or I wouldn’t get it. This wasn’t mentioned when I booked, and it feels misleading.

We had an amazing holiday in a luxurious, top-class accommodation that exceeded all our expectations.

A very spacious apartment that was excellently equipped; we were also impressed with the entire accommodation, including the wellness center and common areas.

Breakfast was fantastic, Benni at the hotel made our stay perfect, the wine cellar was a bonus. The room was nicely outfitted with everthing for a longer stay. Beds comfortable, rooms quiet and shades that darkened. Kitchen & living room had an excellent layout. Location is great, walking distance to grocery store and shopping. Loved our stay, will be back again! Spa was amazing.

Cancelation policy due to emergency family issues was bad since there is no refund for the payment . I have informed the receptionist that i have a family concern and am flying back home please help me by deducting one night and refund the rest but he refused

One of the best flats in Kaprun

Everything was excellent. The place is in the center, the flat is extremely cosy and clean, the staff were very friendly, breakfast was included. Everything was just perfect. I will definitely come back again. Thank you all

The breakfast was very healthy and sustainable. The staff was friendly and forthcoming. All in all, the service was excellent. The room was very nice, modern, clean and comfortable. The kids loved the pool and we enjoyed the sauna and being able to enjoy the nice panorama outside!
