Very enjoyable.

Location is very nice. comfortable beds, spacious bedrooms.Staff are so friendly and helpful and supportive.

The toilet has no shower spray kit Shattaf.Breakfast area to add more choices and I requested for an omelet it was dry and little burnt.

the property has been renovated to a very high standard whilst retaining its classical Austrian hotel. The property has an excellent spa and good restaurant.

Great skiing area with plenty of things to do and lots of quality snow.

Transfer from Salzburg via train is the best option. Hotel excellent with brilliant breakfast options. Ate in restaurant 3 out of 4 nights. Staff attentive. Shuttle service to local and Sell ski area also good.

Great hotel, freshly renovated rooms overlooking the glacier, swimming pool with warm water (kids loved it), great breakfast and a superb 5 course dinner for €25 pp. Oh, and an infra-red sauna in the room!

No way to control the temperature in the room and not enough surfaces to dry the towels

A wonderful family held hotel with rare services like daily organized walks in the moutains

I've spent 4 nights at the Kaprunerhof, and this was time well spent. Breakfast and dinner were consistently excellent, with tea time between 3 and 5 pm. The service is extremely professional, and the spa facilities are absolutely spotless. There are free bicycles, and on top of this, the hotel allows access to the Kaprun gym club, and walks in the mountains are organized daily, all for free ! As well, you benefit from the card that allows full access to the buses and telecabins of Kaprun. Overall, given all these included extras, the price is pretty inexpensive. I will definitely come back next year.

Attack of the hornets.

Pool was really nice - hence the 4/10 rating.

I really liked the property until a huge hornet flew into my room in the evening. I was freaking out since I’ve never seen a hornet in my life before - I went downstairs and a kind bartender went up with me with a fly swatter and quickly disposed of the hornet. While doing so he joked that it’s not the biggest one - he had already kilked two larger ones that day. Haha - super funny. Didn’t think much about his comment before another hornet flew into my room not more than 15 minutes later. That night I killed four more hornets and three more the following night and I’m now scarred for life. Closing a window was not an option since it was really hot and there is no AC. There must be a hornet’s nest on the hotel and the management clearly doesn’t care. Suffice to say I’ve never been more happy to check-out of the hotel in my life. I told them about the hornet problem upon check-out and it was brushed off. I spent the following five night in another hotel in Kaprun and what a suprise - no hornets to be seen, as expected. Would never visit again this hotel even if they paid me.

Absolut empfehlenswertes Hotel, tolle Lage, feine Kulinarik, sehr freundliches, bemühtes Personal

an erster Stelle das Personal, egal mit wem man es zu tun hat es sind alle außerordentlich bemüht und freundlich. Auf eine natürliche und keineswegs übertriebene Art wird einem der Aufenthalt verschönert. Das Personal ist dabei nicht aufdringlich, im Gegenteil, es sind alle stets um das Wohl der Gäste bemüht und man gewinnt den Eindruck, dass die Interaktion mit dem Gast keine Pflicht, sondern ein ernst gelebtes Bedürfnis ist. Wir wurden wiederholt gefragt, ob wir einen Wunsch haben, ob wir beim Essen mit den Gängen noch zuwarten wollen ohne das man uns gehetzt hat. Frühstück wäre eigentlich um 07.30 Uhr gewesen, da wir bereits um 07.00 das Hotel verlassen mußten war 06.45 Uhr überhaupt kein Problem und das bei voller Auswahl (das verdient echt ein Extra Lob!). Am Nachmittag gibt es eine kleine Jause als kulinarische Überbrückung vor dem Abendessen. Die Zimmer waren geräumig, sehr sauber und sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und die Nacht sehr ruhig. Die Kästen bieten genügend Platz und Stauraum für mitgebrachtes Gepäck. Im Bad war sogar eine Infrarotsauna vorhanden. Das Gratis- WLAN funktionierte ohne Probleme

Wenn es überhaupt etwas auszusetzen, dann muß man ernsthaft länger nachdenken, aber wenn man schon meckern möchte, dann vielleicht, dass die Bäder, zumindest in unseren Zimmern (303, 304) nicht für ältere oder behinderte Gäste tauglich waren, da es keine Extra-Dusche gab, sondern diese in die Badewanne mit einer Duschwand aus Glas integriert waren und man daher über eine hohe Badewannenkante zusteigen musste. Für oben erwähnte Personengruppen nahezu unmöglich eine Dusche zu nehmen. Wir wollten an einem Abend die Infrarotsauna benutzen und hätten dies zumindest um die Mittagszeit an der Rezeption kund tun müssen, da diese eine entsprechende Vorlaufzeit benötigte. Vielleicht haben wir die Hotelinfo nicht genau gelesen und es war dort erwähnt, wenn nicht, hätte man es uns beim Einchecken erwähnen können. Die Zimmerbar war leer
