A nice stay to enjoy a visit in Mainz and in the area for a couple of days.
The situation is ideal in the old Mainz city. Comfort and service are nice. Possibility to drink nice wine and have dinner in the cosy Weinstube at the ground floor of the hotel with warm atmosphere.
In the pedestrian street just in front of the hotel, some people can be noisy in the middle of the night, so a bit disturbing for a nice sleep. The breakfast is nice and diverse, but some bread and butter (and not only ready made sandwiches) would be appreciated. There is no parking place direct in the hotel, but some parkings not too far of the hotel are suggested.

Overall it's excellent & a nice peaceful stay
location - it's in the prime location where everything is accessible by walk
parking - car parking was charged and it has to be onstreet or a paid parking in the nearby mall

A pleasant stay in a charming area of Mainz
Great location and friendly welcoming staff. Surprisingly quiet given its central location. A nice balcony for use of all guests. Easy walk to Mainz Romisches Theater train station.
The room was very hot (end May) and the small fan didn’t really help. A kettle, small fridge and safe would be useful additions to the room.

A pleasant stay
It’s a beautiful old building in the center of Mainz Oldtown. The staff was wonderful!
Bed had two mattresses instead of one big one. For the price of 15€ we expected a little bit more from the breakfast buffet.
