Didn't feel as a hotel. Even the entrance is strange; Like from a " back door" feeling.

The location was perfect.

It is called hotel but it is more like a hostel. No stuff avaliable, a kind of a basic apartment.

It was clean and a great location.

When we arrived we needed to pay extra. The hotel did not make it clear on booking we needed to stipulate how many people. We booked two rooms but the registration said only two people. We had to pay extra, we had to pay extra for someone to wait for us as we got in late.

Charming

Brilliant location, really spacious studio apartment. The early check-in was great. We parked across the road in the large Rheingoldhalle carpark - very convenient, although we were charged 24 Euros for about 24 hours.

Nothing. Everything was fine. I was a little warm in the room. We didn't try the portable aircon because of the city noise when we opened the windows.

Underwhelming but with great potential.

Central location .

Lack of reception/information about local attractions. Access is extremely difficult with only access from the rear and then through the eating area of another restaurant.. Only space for one vehicle in drop-off area ( and watch out for the descending steps on the edge.).

Don’t talk to the owner; he might ask you to run errands or do tasks for him.

The room was spacious and comfortable.

The glass in the bathroom was uncleaned, with toothpaste on it still. Other than that, everything was fine. The reason for the low review is the owner. He knocked on my door at 8pm asking me to make a work related called for him in english. I expressed my discomfort with working while staying there as a guest and did not make the call. The next morning, the owner confronted me and began to lecture me about how I should be wiser, less American, and more Chinese (I’m Chinese-American). He said that a Chinese person would’ve worked for him for free and made the call he needed. I refused to listen to his complete lecture, so I began to leave and he lectured me all the way out the door. If you would like to stay here, it would be best to not interact with the owner.

Very much improvable

Good position to visit the city.

Cleaning to be improved in the common spaces, in some areas of the apartment and of some furniture (spare pillow, couch, kettle). The bathroom is recently renovated but the rest of the apartment definitely needs some renovation, too. Guests are asked to leave the kitchen clean but are not provided with kitchen towels. Cannot really be defined a hotel as there are no hotel services. Definitely overpriced.

Manager was very nice

Super noisy mobile AC which had a pipe attached so had to leave the window open and the road was also super noisy. I hardly slept. The bed was also not comfy, only one very hard pillow. Hardly any shower gel…

A clean private hotel in the historic district, near everything you want.

The property is more like a number of private apartments. It was very clean, private. We arrived during a heatwave and while the was no air conditioning, they had opened the windows and brought in two fans to help cool it down. the location is excellent, by the Fischtor Turm and a block from the Dom.

There was quite a bit of noise from the street during the night and we had to have the windows open because of the heat.

AWFUL

The location

First, of all Hotel Havana is not a hotel. It is apartments. It is mentioned that there is parking around the hotel which is a big LIE. When I said that to the owner, he replied in a very rude tone of voice (actually spitting on my face since he was not wearing a mask) : "BE CALM! THIS IS GERMANY. NOT GREECE". We had to go up 3 sets of stairs to reach our room with ou luggage. The bathroom was dirty, the towels torn and the bed was covered with something made of very hot material which made our nights unbearable. I would not even recommend it for animals' stay!

Very friendly staff. Huge, comfortable and modern room and bathroom, great value for money. Everything was in order and kitchenette had everything you might need except for food itself.

Good location. Room is nice and spacious.

Lousy check in. Nobody there when I arrived. All dark. Had to go to Hilton Hotel to contact somebody. Bad service. No breakfast or laundry. You are on your own. Very bad. I had booked the night before but had to change date by one day. They charged me for late cancellation even though I only changed the booking by one day. One old guy finally showed up to check me in. Didnt speak English and little German. Come on. If you cannot have a functioning reception dont run a hotel. 😡😡😡

Location + rooms are good but staff should reachable when needed and speak a common language.

There was a little kitchenette in the room which was enough for cooking main dishes. Also one water boiler and a microwave were available for using in the room. The room was good enough for essentials. Location is very very good, too. There was no breakfast or so provided.

The staff couldn't speak any German or English. I needed an iron and a knife but I couldn't find anyone in the hotel. So, you have to give them a call or nothing. I left notes for the staff to clean the room after the first 3Rd day, but nothing happened. However, when I could finally reach them, they were helpful anyways.

Unbelievably Good

Amazing apartment with everything I needed. I was only able to stay a night but I was amazed at the value of this place. Deli (the guy who welcomed me) is great..... really helpful. I will go back to this place!

Die Lage ist zur Stadt- Besichtigungen sehr gut, Essengehen und Einkäufe sind ohne lange Wege gut zu erreichen. Das Zentrum liegt ca. 2min weg.

Die Straße vor dem Hotel ist natürlich nicht leise, im Winter nicht problematisch, im Sommer...

Für mich hat alles gepasst.

Das Zimmer lag auf der Strassenseite, was mich aber nicht gestört hat. Ich war tagsüber nicht auf dem Zimmer. Kaffeemaschine war vorhanden.

Wäre schön gewesen, wenn 2-3 Kaffeepats oder Teebeutel vorrätig gewesen wären. Ansonsten war aus meiner Sicht alles in Ordnung.

Super Lage, bei der Sauberkeit noch Luft nach oben

Super Lage, sehr guter Preis, freundlicher und zuvorkommender Mitarbeiter. Geräumiges Zimmer und großes Bad mit großer Dusche.

Das Zimmer war nicht sehr sauber (kleine Spinnenweben, Staub auf den Sockelleisten, Ecken, Nachttisch etc.). Ein neuer Anstrich des Zimmers würde auch nicht schaden. Die Toilettenbürste müsste dringend mal ausgetauscht werden. Die Zimmer sind etwas hellhörig, die Fenster sind nicht ganz abgedichtet.
