Mostly i like Hilton and it has perfect location, but expencive parking- 34 euro per day

Definitely i like this hotel! Good interior, big hotel, my style of hotels. Room is clean, comfortable bed and big TV, nice view to the city. Breakfast buffet also good, many tables and big buffet hall

I didnt like temperature at the room specially for the night for sleeping and cant change it with conditioner. Had to sleep with two sweaters. Only this was not so good

The Hiltoni is (normally) a reliable hotel of good quality with an excellent location plus good view

Breakfast was overly crowded with conference or fair groups, which we did NOT LIKE.

The hotel had given no notice that their garage was not usable for non-conference hotel guests, and that one floor was shut off for renovation. There was no guidance about where to park in the neighborhood. Just some casual remarks at check-in. The drive-up to the hotel entrance was overcrowded with cars that were parked there. Real chaos.

The location right on the riverside was lovely. We had a room with a view of the river. Parking was good. Breakfast was lovely. Nice coffee and plenty of choice.

Keep your expectations normal and you'll enjoy yourself

More than enough healthy options at breakfast. The bed was very comfortable. The room was quiet, even though it was next to the main road. There was always plenty of enough parking, regardless of the time of day.

Two problems with parking. 1. I received a four day card at check in, but I had to run back up to reception daily to have it activated. 2. Parking was 34 Euro per day. Equal quality hotel 500 meters down the road has cheaper parking. Two problems with the restaurant. 1. Brasserie wasn't open the entire trip. 2. The last time I was here they had an excellent menu with multiple steaks to choose from. Now they only had a one page menu with pricey items.

Enjoyable Stay At Mainz Hilton

Mainz Hilton is in a great location overlooking The Rhine River. The rooms have been renovated and are spacious and very comfortable.

No free internet in your room only in the lobby. A charge of 19 Euros per day. For a Hilton hotel in this day and age it surprises me that free internet is not available in all areas of the hotel .Very disappointing. Something to consider if booking this hotel

Rhine next to hotel beautiful location

The room was a bit of a walk from reception up and down 2 lifts through a connecting bridge but if I had paid €50 extra per night I could of had a river view .I feel this this was unfair the rooms were not cheap in the first place we should have had a room nearer to the hotel facilities

Location

Dated place with the charm of an train station. Room: to take a shower there is a simple, old bathtub with shower curtain. You invariably stand on the lid of the drain pipe. Design seemingly from the 70th. The ‘city room’ view from the room was a joke. Cleaning staff made noise from ca. 7.30am cleaning adjoining rooms and knocked on my door at 8.15am … on a Saturday morning! 189€ for the standard room with parking, but no breakfast is totally over the top. Reception staff trying, but but seem untrained.
