Very handy for the old town and the river.

We could see the towers of the Cathedral from our balcony. A few minutes walk from the river. A lovely large room.

Unique hotel with great views

We loved the hotel. We booked this as a place to stay near Franfurt as we had a flight out in the morning. The room was very unique and the view fro the balcony was amazing. Parking was very easy and we were able to take a quick tour of the town before leaving for the airport.

Clean hotel close to the old town of Mainz

The hotel is very clean an close to the old town of mainz. The staff at the reception was very helpfull and frendly.

The breakfast was not very rich in variety. When we came into the restaurant there was nobody to show us were we could seat and were to find things. There was a lot of stuff around, but they were talking to each other an taking things to eat and drink from the Breakfast buffet.

The location is an advantage because it's right in the center, was clean and the bed was comfortable too. The view was ok but not wow. The breakfast was also good, they had eggs, ham, prosciutto, cheese, butter, joghurt, fruits, coffee etc.

Based on the pictures, I would have expected to get a balcony but I didn't.

Excellent breakfast, excellent location, very friendly staff, very good internet connection, very spacious room and extremely clean.

The bathroom is very small and there isn’t any place to put your toiletries or clothes.

Niece place for short term stay.

Nice room with a small balcony. The view of the old town is unforgettable. The beds are comfortable. The room is spacious and clean. The bathroom is tiny but OK - walk-in shower, toilet, and sink. There is no air conditioning, but you can use a fan to lower the temperature in the room. The breakfast is very tasty with good choices of a variety of food. Optionally, it is possible to park the car in the underground car park (for an additional fee). The hotel is ideally located just a stone's throw from the old town center and the cathedral.

The staff at the reception is so funny and kind to me. The breakfast is super, there are many kinds of fruits and yogurt and salmon, meat... The location is quite near the central of Mainz. Only 4-5 minutes walk to Dom Mainz.

There is no air conditioner, so if it is so hot, perhaps it should be tough.

Very central location, yet easy to reach by car. Parking is available right below the hotel. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, and breakfast was lovely. Spacious room.

Just one thing: One bed was very creaky, even though it was just our 9-year-old turning in it.

Unfortunately the room did not include air conditioning, which was a problem for us, because we had a night where it was 28+ degrees during the night, which made it very hard to sleep.

Good location, attentive staff and a well maintained facilities.

The location of hotel was perfect as it was barely five minutes walk to Mainz cathedral as well as seemingly the main high street and the various shops, bars and restaurants that lined it. The rooms were tidy and well provisioned whilst the breakfast on offer was very satisfactory. I also found the hotel staff very responsive to the emailed questions I sent ahead of our stay as well in negotiating an extra night's stay.

Outside of the TV being a bit far away from my bed I can't think of too much. I had a heavy cold during the holiday but had no real complaints about the hotel.

Relaxing, friendly and well located hotel in a beautiful, perfectly sized German town on the Rhine!

The Concierge/receptionist Marina was exception in her help with questions and accommodations. The hotel’s location was perfect being one block from the historic town area and waterfront. This hotel was formerly a convent or retreat and was peaceful and relaxing. Interesting architectural features include the roof and the unusual angular corners in the rooms. The breakfast was delicious and full of a wonderful variety, including breads, meats and smoked fish, cheeses, and much more. Wonderful and friendly staff in a terrific German town!

Fantastic location, very central in the old town of Mainz. Beautiful views, comfortable room, great breakfast and super helpful and friendly staff.

The double bed had 2 mattresses with a gap. Not a big thing but a little unusual.
