Proximity

No pool, under the beds it was extremely dirty with loads of dust. Breakfast was basic and it took a long time checking in probably staffing issue.

Very good hotel

Excellent facilities, very clean and comfortable, all the staff were lovely. One of the best short stays I've ever had. I'll be visiting Mainz again for family reasons and I will stay in this hotel again as my first choice.

Over all i was expecting a bit more . The dinner was amasing & mini bar had much needed water amongs

Breakfast was laid there , however, if you asked for a french pressed coffee or eggs that needed to come out of the kitchen took a lot longer than when we ordered dinner from the kitchen & the chef had to cook the meat

The service at breakfast wasn't very organised. You order things and depending on who took the order they would forget. Also there was a foul smell in the foyer in the lift and the same smell came out of the washbasin when you opened the tap

Everything the room was so beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. The location was perfect for exploring Mainz. The staff was so helpful and attentive. The restaurant was delicious, one of the best meals we had in Germany. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Mainz.

Wonderful hotel with a great style

We really liked the hotel style, very 1920-ish feeling. The shared spaces (breakfast room, hall, etc.) are gorgeous. The rooms are not enormous but spacious enough, and the space is very well organized so they seem "just the right size". Rooms are also quiet, beds super comfortable, and the furniture quality is top. Breakfast was very good too.

Extras like breakfast and parking are on expensive side.

Top notch, exceptional value.

Nearly everything. Staff were wonderful. Hotel was exceptionally clean and smelled fresh and light floral scent. The staff was impressively responsive and helpful at solving a dilemma about limited rollaway beds that we had reserved. Our room, 505, was one of my favorite rooms I have ever stayed in. Everything about this hotel was top notch. Good value.

Breakfast was a little too expensive for what we needed so we never ate there.

Lovely well appointed unique hotel.

A beautiful unique hotel. Very helpful staff! Warm interior, beautifully decorated. Great facilities and a good location. We were able to put our bikes in a safe place. The breakfast was delicious and the price very reasonable. The lobby a place to relax. A place to come back to.

Very good hotel for a very competitive price, great rooms, and outstanding breakfast buffet

This hotel wat outstanding. Very friendly staff, room was great with a big bed and nice bathroom, big TV. Breakfast was also vey good, with a large buffet to choose from. It s a 5 minute walk to the cathedral and maybe 10 minutes until the river, the hotel also has a big parking garage, where you can park your car for I think 27 euro per day. I also liked the details, for example the floor heating in the bathroom and the lights under the bed that go on when you need to go to the toilet at night.

A great place to stay but prices are far too expensive.

The property has recently been refurbished so everything is new and pristine. The staff were friendly and helpful. It is well located for able to walk to the old town, the Dom, restaurants, museums, buses, trams and is only a brisk 10min walk from the station

The breakfast and evening meals are far too expensive. The normal rates for a room are also too expensive. We always stayed in this hotel when it was the city Hilton which had more reasonable rates. We will only stay here in the future if we get a good discount with Booking.com as we did for this stay.

Desperate for maintenance and upgrade.

Breakfast

Maintenance - very very poor. Bathroom fittings broken, safe broken, kettle broken. When I mentioned to reception I was told there were no maintenance people on site today.

Room was a bit stale, needed to open the windows Lights needed to be individually turned off, Minibar was empty, not even a welcome bottle of water In hotel water and sodas were outrageously expensive Not eco-friendly: Halogen lights and the minibar was seriously outdated, looked like it used CFC gas.

Very, very dated hotel. For paying Hilton prices, the rooms are drab - old dusty carpet, chipped old wood furniture and peeling wall paper. The staff were great, it has a good breakfast, but those rooms, pretty gross.
