Really good hotel. Close to all public transport and a great location. Always taxis in line at the train station. The staff is very polite and pleasant. If you need a snack or something to eat and drink, there are great little shops and restaurants at the train station across the street at good prices. The breakfast at the hotel is really good and it is great to have both a safe and air conditioning in the room. Clean room, very good beds that we slept well in. I have nothing bad to say about it except maybe the fluffy thick carpets on the floor could be removed.

Check in was quick, friendly and easy. This is literally a several minute walk from Mainz Hbf, the main train station. We stay here before flying out of Frankfurt Airport FRA. The S bahn is only 25 minutes, runs every half hour, and is 3.30 EUR. It's an easy walk to say goodbye to the Rhine, walking through a park as you go. Zenz Wirtshaus is a minute walk for an authentic German meal and good beer selection. Photo shows view from the room.

Simple facility in a great location

I loved the location - On the central train station and walking distance from the old city. I also loved the staff - both the night person and the two day people went out of their way. The room itself was very basic. The amenities also. The room did not have a USB connection to charge my phone (though staff helped out by giving me their chargers). I did not have the breakfast, so I cannot comment on that.

They didn't realise we had asked for a children's bed to be put up - although I had messages back and forth about this. Fortunately they did put up a baby travel cot and our son managed to sleep in that.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Directly across from the train station, a one minute walk. My room faced the train station and there was no noise in the room. The room had a lot of space. The bed was comfortable.

location was incredible and very strategic, just 1 minute away from the Main station of Mainz on foot and close to so many supermarkets and other restaurants. Also the staff were super nice and understanding not to mention very very helpful.

The location for travelling by train was excellent The lady at reception when we arrived and left was very helpful.

We booked a penthouse room on the sixth floor but it turned out to be much smaller than the impression we got from the images.

Excellent location for me, as it's opposite the train station. Easy to drop a bag, or leave a bag during the day at reception, waiting for next train. Room is nothing special, functional.

Although a strictly non-smoking room, you can tell someone smoked in the room before, as I can still smell it. Uncomfortable.

Comfort and value rolled into one.

Everything! Location, staff, and the MATTRESS! It was comfortable beyond belief. Also liked minibar. Have not seen one in a small hotel in a long time. Staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Right across the plaza from the train station, but no noise at all. Breakfast, which was extra, offered a nice variety of hot and cold food and drink.

Good location but would not want to spend more than a coupe nights in our particular room.

Location is excellent for train travelers; only a 10' walk or so to "downtown" areas near the Dom and Guttenberg Museum (which is fantastic). Staff very friendly, if perhaps a bit overworked. Bed was comfortable and street noise level in our room was acceptably low. We did not take the breakfast service so cannot comment on such.

There was some sort of odor coming from the (interior) bathroom. It did not appear to have top class ventilation so we kept the door closed essentially all the time. This is often an issue in European hotels so I did not feel this hotel was especially negligent. To a large extent, you get what you pay for and in this case a pretty small room and very tight bathroom.

Nicely renovated hotel

The rooms are newly renovated. Nice design and very functional. They are not the largest rooms, but absolutely OK for a short stay. Particularly notable this summer: the room is air-conditioned ! Despite being located right at a busy translation the rooms are very quiet. The staff at reception and at breakfast were very friendly and professional.

Pleasant staff and location

I stayed here overnight to catch an early flight out of Frankfurt without having to stay by the Frankfurt train station. It was an excellent location for my needs, and far more pleasant than Frankfurt would have been. The staff and room were also excellent for the price.

The bathroom only offers a combined shower gel and shampoo product (along with hand soap, obviously). I had my own shampoo so this wasn’t a problem, but it was surprising to find in an otherwise very nice room.

Welcoming, efficient, excellent location.

A very warm welcome - we were offered water and coffee, which made all the difference. We decided late to opt for the breakfast buffet, which was excellent and good value. Plenty of reasons to return!

Excellent short stay location.

when I arrived very early I was greeted and given the opportunity to sit and work in the lobby until our room was available. by 10 AM our room was available and I was able to access it. The manager was very helpful throughout my visit and I appreciate his hard work.
