Decent hotel close to the station
Conveniently across the road from the station (but unfortunately not so close to the centre centre).
I was bit surprised for a hotel the rooms were only cleaned once a week, which meant mine wouldn’t be cleaned while I was there, especially given the price.

Nice hotel, good service, I would avoid the restaurant
The staff were friendly and welcoming on arrival, carrying our bags up the stairs at reception and guiding us to the lifts. Some of our rooms were upgraded which was a nice surprise. The rooms were large & clean, beds were comfortable and the products provided were lovely. Breakfast had a good selection and was tasty. When we encountered issues below the staff were accomoidating, allowed us to check out late and provided plenty of cool water/chamomile tea which was all greatly appreciated.
On our first night, our group had dinner in the hotel restaurant, the setting was lovely, the food all looked very fancy and was generally good, my steak was lovely. During this meal two people from our group ate the salmon with caviar in the restaurant. This was the only meal that they both ate on arrival in Mainz having travelled and arrived seperately. Just over 24 hours later both were violently ill, starting within 1hr of each other, this carried on for at least 4 days after check out from the hotel, resulting in them missing the second meeting with clients that they were in Mainz to attend. We informed the hotel and they investigated after we had left, they informed us that they had looked into it and deduced that the salmon dish was fine and it wasnt their fault. As a group we wholeheartedly disagree with this decision. We travel to Mainz regularly for work, we are there again next week, its very unlikely that we would stay in the hotel again or recomend to colleagues.

Great place to stay when you are on a business trip
The staff were very helpful and very close to the train station.
the correspondences i had with the hotel set me off and was not very optimistic as i felt that they are very strickt and not willing to help or support.
