Great, recommend for short city break in Mainz,

The hotel is in a great location and we really liked as it is quirky and different from standard hotels. The room was not large but perfect for our needs. It also wasn't too warm which is often a problem in hotels. The bed was super comfy. And the breakfast is really good, wide range of food available. All the staff were really friendly. Some things that did not bother us at all but *could" bother some guests: - It is a cashless hotel (yes, lots of people in Germany still love cash!) - The toilet is separate from the sink and shower which is great. There is no door to where the shower and sink are so this could be troublesome for some people - One side of the bed has a shelf all along the wall which means that person has to get in and out of the bed at the bottom, again, not a problem for us but maybe tricky for some guests

A 10/10 stay in the beautiful city of Mainz.

This property was really nicely decorated. The staff were immediately friendly, helpful and welcoming. Definitely add the breakfast option as it is so nice coming downstairs each morning to a tasty breakfast with a variety of food! The location is amazing, a short walk to the centre and train station. The sauna and gym have amazing facilities with beautiful views over Mainz. Our room was also decorated really nicely and a perfect size! We will be coming back next year :) Love from Phil and Betty from England!

Great stay and excellent service very close to the main trainstation. Can only recommend.

Sauna on the top is a huge bonus after a hard day at work. The area is very relaxing and good quality with clean and fresh towels and robes to use. Staff is extremely friendly and polite. Overall very good service quality.

Little thing but there is no changing room on the floor of the sauna so if you need to change first you go upstairs get your robes and towel, then go down to change and come back up. And the same when you finish with your relax session.

Exceptional hospitality and amenities!

The location is perfectly situated within walking distance to the train station and other local attractions. 2 public parking options are available. The facilities were modern, clean and very comfortable.

Modern chic hotel but with room for improvement

- The friendly and welcoming staff and the one of a kind amazing reception area. Breakfast was great and the gym area as well. - WiFi was super for work - The room had a fridge with free drinks and the artwork is also lovely. - On sustainability, I loved the fact that one can just scan a code for every service and it works ( apart from the cleaning, which probably receive delayed communication). - There's a huge parking garage opposite the hotel parking just(can't accommodate all guests) and the hotel staff shared this information as well.

1. There is no sink to wash hands in the toilet. This was a "psychological war" and hygienical issue, almost a trauma for me. 2. I have been to many pet friendly hotels, but never have i ever gotten a room where I could smell the pet right from the door and also find that pet hairs lying in the room.( Staff offered to chage rooms next day but it wasn't worth the hussle for me for a day). It would be great if they can save extra rooms for guests travelling with pets, otherwise most people will need to say they are allergic to pets.

Elegant, modern and sustainable

Focus on sustainability that didn't feel like it limits us in any way. Complimentary car charger was amazing surprise. The staff was very nice and helpful.

Everything was perfect! But if I have to pick something, just one of the complimentary car chargers worked.

Beautiful energizing hotel with BIG delicious breakfast

Nice rooms, ambiance, colors en enjoyed the lay-out of the hotel and the rooms. Big breakfast, a lot of fresh products, replenished regularly.

We ordered 2 rooms for in total 5 people (at Booking). This was not clear at check-in, they had prepared for 4 people. They immediately thought along and resolved it well without any costs.

A hip hotel - friendly staff - great seating areas

Fabulous stay in a very modern hotel. Breakfast was brilliant. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable with a super amazing bathroom and wonderful shower. The place had a 24 hour gym and also a sauna.

Overall a great stay, highly recommended for Mainz.

Very conveniently located (5min on foot from the main train station and close to the city center), very clean and nicely designed, there’s a sauna and a gym for the guests on the top floors, complimentary drinks in the fridge and useful little accessories (needle and thread, basic cosmetics, a shoe polishing sponge etc).

Awful vibe

Hipster hotel but managed to be soulless. We cancelled one of our nights as we just did not like the vibe. They have lots for you to buy with stacks of beer etc in the reception area and removed the kettles from the room because they have such good coffee at their bar (quote from management)! At breakfast i asked for a soft boiled egg and they had 3 attempts to supply one. 2 were so raw that when i cut the top off the egg flowed everywhere the third was a warmish hard boiled egg. (This may sound petty but for some reason my gut hates scrambled/hard boiled eggs so i have soft boiled eggs). They advertise DJ etc but this is a very occasional thing and when we returned at night there was no one in the bar area- dead quiet.

Modern hotel with amazing decorations but requires many improvements

1- Location 2- Modern 3- Decoration 4- Support in giving us late check out

1- AC not cooling down at all and it was too warm inside the room due to the hot weather. Cannot open window because it was too noisy from the street 2- No fan was provided when requested due to limited number and it was only provided for the last night out of the stayed four nights and it was in bad condition 3- breakfast options, quality and service require improvement 4- Housekeeper was too rude. He enters the room in the morning (around 9 am ) without knocking the door. I warned him but still behavior continued next days 5- Poor housekeeping. Bedsheets never replaced even after the 3rd night

It’s an average experience or less.

The room is clean and decorated with a unique style. Hotel is nice and very convenient to reach. Some stuff are very warm welcoming and passionate. Bath shower is very powerful.

The room is not very sound proof. I can hear the next room coughing, morning alarm, tv sounds etc… The cleaning services begins about 8am-8h30 and woke us up :( So didn’t get good sleep. Not sure how the window works as we felt it can be controlled remotely bc it suddenly goes up and down which scared us on the last morning before check out. Staff is various, have very nice and warm welcoming ones and also just no face no words ones.

Was ok but fell short of expectations

great staff, nice concept, very good coffee and great treatment of dogs

Airconditioning not working, stuffy and cramped rooms, smelt strange in corridor, other guests running around partying at night. Car park was “full”. (I’m not entirely sure the free parking exists because it goes under an apartment building). Also it is a vegan restaurant.

Great location, friendly helpful staff, gorgeous design, outstanding breakfast!

Really lovely design and feel in the whole hotel, outstanding breakfast offer, very comfortable and clean room, loads of really nice touches which made us feel like they had gone the extra mile to make our stay special. Especially as I am coeliac, the breakfast buffet was safe for me to eat the gluten free things from and they brought me gluten free bread as well. Really lovely organic local produce!

A terrific getaway

Friendly and helpful staff, unique decor, very comfortable bed and good shower, convenient location near the main train station and only a short walk to the old town. Good food and drink options too (although you can find cheaper options in town).

Although it was generally very quiet in the room, it was possible to hear other guests slamming their doors from time to time.

This hotel is like a jewellery box, all the amazing parts are on the inside. This accommodation is beautifully appointed and the rooms are a good size for a city hotel. The facilities have been well thought out and the breakfast has lots to choose from.

Loved it four years ago.and loved it this time again!

The breakfast choices had something for every taste, I enjoyed the varies rolls, husband loved the little creme puffs! Location is central, busstop outside, Hauptbahnhofin easy walking distance, even walking to the middle of town not to far. Employees all so friendly and helpful! DJ night once a week for the those who like that.

Superb

Staff were really helpful and friendly. Check-in and check-out we're super easy and they recommended a few places to visit when we asked and held luggage for a bit.

Room was more on the smaller side (but was still nice and compfortable). The aircon didn't seem to work though.
