Lovely house, with great character and history; warm and cosy with plenty of space to relax, play games and chat. Well equipped kitchen. Great location in a lovely little town. Dog friendly. Would definitely go back.

The location was fantastic and it was clean. I am a huge fan of John Bellany so loved having 3 of his paintings in the house. One shower was newly renovated.
The shower drain downstairs was blocked making it unusable and leaving 2 bathrooms for 9 people, there were no bin bags in the house on arrival (which did appear the day before we left) towels had holes in them, the advertised welcome basket was 2 bottles of wine and the ā€œsitting area outsideā€ was an alleyway next to the bins.
