Scenery and space

The space in the main room was great, as was the large bedroom and the sitting room.

The kitchen was on the face of it large. But, there were old tea towels under the sink covered in mouse droppings. The pans in another cupboard was also covered in mouse droppings, including in the pans! The oven had a glass door, which had thick brown build up, and the bottom of the oven had a thick, hard build up of hard grease. It was filthy! The sanitary bin had not been emptied either. When changing the bin bags in the kitchen bins, there were egg shells, black 'muck', paper towels, and other things that we didn't know what they were. Also, the light switch in the sitting room was exposed and hanging from the wall. In the cupboards there was food left by previous guests, and the little tea boiler was half filled with stagnant water.

Nice quiet place,

It was a little bit cold and the ventilator in one toilet was working very loudly, we were going crazy at night

Great space to host large groups to stay all under 1 roof, also everything needed was to hand in kitchen and in way of games for children, pool table was a massive plus for everyone

Maybe could of had heating on or up as so spacious it tended to get a bit chilly., could of been a little more homely feel at one end of room so there was option to all be involved rather then some separated. On general a really good space and area is beautiful

It was perfect for a family break with young children . There were 10 of us and there was so much space . The kitchen was well equipped and was a good size . We particularly liked all the toys as well as books and games for both adults and children . The location was scenic and peaceful with some outdoor space to explore . Plenty of lovely places to visit nearby . We felt really relaxed as it was very child friendly ie no fancy furniture or ornaments that could be damaged . We all loved the snooker table ! Everyone young and old had a wonderful time and would go back again .

The male toilets weren’t very attractive .

The host dropped off the keys showed me around the barn and facilities, also gave a couple of options of things to do in the local town. Board games and a large function room made this an enjoyable stay.

Plenty of spiders but that comes hand in hand with countryside and a barn 😂 so no complaints haha
