Place has potential, but not in current state!

Location was handy for us.

The place was dusty and wasn't cleaned to standard. The rugs and bathroom left a bad odour. The decor is very dated with the paintwork not to the standard portrayed in the photos, however, the landlord has high expectations of his guests in terms of checkout instructions. Parking is by chance and must be paid for separately.

Bright spacious flat. Toilet and shower separate which is good.

The pavement had been dug so getting to the front door with cases was quite precarious. Instructions how to put together the sofa bed would be useful. As only one person was sleeping there we managed.

An awful uncomfortable stay that left me feeling unsafe

When I arrived at the property, I was quick to discover that the boiler was not working. This meant that the property was freezing with no way to heat it up or take a hot shower. I reported this to the manager, who forwarded my number to an engineer. Neither of them were able to resolve the issue, and I was instead provided a portable heater for the bedroom. The portable heater was not sufficient enough for heating the bedroom, and this also meant that the rest of the property was freezing and uncomfortable to be in. However, what disturbed me the most was what happened afterwards. Days after checking out of the property, I received a deeply racist and misogynistic rape joke from the engineer. This was sent to my phone at 10PM - a number that he should not have had because keeping that information is in violation of GDPR. When I reported this to the property manager, his initial response was to call me back just a couple of minutes later to say that "he didn't mean to send this to you". This gives me major concerns that disciplinary procedures have not taken place and that this could happen again. Not only is engaging in deeply misogynistic and racist jokes highly offensive (and illegal in their own right), retaining my information for so long after my stay is in violation of GDPR. This mistake should never have been able to have been made in the first place. I strongly believe that no further action would have been taken if I hadn't brought up that this being allowed to happen was in breach of the GDPR and it didn't matter whether the engineer intended to send this to me or not. As a property manager, he should be shocked that someone he employs/contracts thinks violence against women and racist rhetoric is acceptable in any capacity. While I was given a full refund, I feel this only happened because I insisted my data had been mishandled and was in violation of the law.

Disappointing stay, needs finishing properly to make safe

Walking distance to the tram. Timely responses to maintenance issues. Generous selection of basic cooking ingredients left to use, eg, oil, dried herbs, and garlic. Nicely dressed soft furnishings in lounge

Injured my leg from a broken single bed, the broken piece was left under the bed covered in dust, so it had been broken for a while. The shower room was unfinished with exposed pipes at the shower base, and tiles left ungrouted. Crockery and baking tin was dirty, so we had to wash every item before use. Toilet light failed to work, so we had to use the loo in the dark. It was addressed upon reporting the issue and an electrician booked. All windows needed black out blinds, especially the main bedroom, as there is a street light that shines right into the room all night.

Great stay near Leith harbour.

No fault of the owner but there was roadworks on the street so very limited parking. Obviously this is not a long term problem but would have preferred to know in advance to book parking elsewhere.

Mooi, ruim appartement in een rustige omgeving wat goed bereikbaar was met het openbaar vervoer, met beperkte parkeermog

Het was erg ruim en de omgeving was rustig, terwijl we relatief dicht bij de stad waren. Het was ook goed bereikbaar met het openbaar vervoer.

Het parkeren was lastig, we hebben dit uiteindelijk aan een buurtbewoner gevraagd.

l'appartement est très mignon et propre , le propriétaire disponible et arrangeant

le canape lit n'est clairement pas fait pour deux personnes et pas du tout confortable la douche est inutilisable (eau bouillante ou glacée et très peu de débit nous avions réservé pour 5 adultes cet appartement est plutôt pour 3.
