Excellent No-Frills Choice

Room had a fridge, good wifi, good aircon and good shower. There was real coffee at breakfast (not out of a machine), and, although the breakfast choice was limited, I was fine with it. No swimming pool, which I regard as a good thing as the hotel is unlikely to attract families with kids or the type of people who want to sit around boozing all day.

There were problems with the window shutter (had to be pulled down manually, but easy enough once that was realised), and the lavatory cistern did not always refill if the flush did not reset properly, but again easy enough to manage once I realised the problem.

The property is clean and well maintained, the girls at the reception and breakfast are so nice and welcoming. They did a great job!

Although the listing stated otherwise, the hotel does not have a restaurant or bar on-site. My main concern was the behavior of the night staff. After returning from dinner and stepping out to meet my guest (the reservation was for two), I noticed that staff member standing suspiciously near my room holding a broom. When my guest arrived, the staff member approached my guest aggressively, loudly demanding identification. While I understand the verification might be necessary, the manner in which it was done was inappropriate and unprofessional. My guest felt unwelcome and shocked by the encounter, ultimately deciding to leave due to how uncomfortable the situation felt.

Location 👌🏻. Silvana at the cafeteria is simply the best, she made us feel welcome. And Angelica is really great. Thanks girls.

We stayed on 2 occasions. The first room was very cleaned and a bit more spacious. The second room was not good. Bed small and soft. Room cramped. Bathroom not cleaned properly and it had a disgusting shower curtain. The AC did not turn on. The night front desk agent not helpful. He kept repeating that because we made the reservation through booking he couldn’t do anything to help or improve our stay, that he would have been able to do something if we had booked through the hotel directly. He lacks customer service and is not pleasant. He had no desire nor attitude to want to help. Spoke with the director after & he offered us another room for more money. We declined. On top of that we had to carry our luggage’s 26 steps to reach the front desk.

A short but enjoyable stay!!

The location is fabulous….you couldn’t be closer to the sea and our room had a wonderful sea view. The breakfast was simple but very enjoyable and served by a happy, friendly lady. We also enjoyed a lovely lunch time meal on the terrace.
