I liked that it was on the slope. Very close. You could ski to the first chair and go up the mountain. The room in itself was pretty ok. The bedroom bed was large and confortable, but the sofa bed was awfull. The sheets were not the cleanest but they were decent. The heat in the room was sufficient for the bedroom, it could use more for the living room. The breakfast was decent, and the restaurant was good for dinners. The restaurant staff was great and very helpful.
There were a lot of stairs and no elevator, it was a pain to get all the luggage up. The ski room was not free, it was 5 EUR per day (seemed expensive to me). The internet was awfull, there were weak connection in the room and after 3 days it stopped woking completely. The parking is a bit far for carring luggage, and since it snowed heavily they cleaned the parking lot after 1.5 days, anybody who wanted to leave had to dig their own way. Hot water was provided via electric boiler, not enough to wash for people (2 adults + 2 children) in the same session.

Hotel meets expectation but don't expect superior service or options.. Location is good but not perfect need to walk uphill for 500m before skiing.
Restaurant is ok but breakfast is not the best. Over cooked egg, very bad quality coffee, not welcoming personnel.

I liked the look of the rooms and the restaurant, it was quite fancy.
The room had terrible smell of cigarettes smoke, it was impossible to stay without windows open. When I went to reception to ask for new room, the receptionist wasn’t there. So I waited for 15 min and then I found the number of the hotel on google and called for someone to come. The receptionist wasn’t nice and gave me key for new room to go and check if I would like it and then to come back and tell her If we would accept it. After I came back 10 min later, again she wasn’t there although we agreed that I would come back. So again after a few minutes waiting I had to call on the phone for someone to tell her to come :( The hotel is advertising non smoking rooms but there was an ashtray on the window and a terrible smell, so this non smoking room is not for real.
The staff in the restaurant were also rude, the premises cold, the kids playroom is part of the restaurant and is not actually available unless you are guest of the restaurant. The restaurant and the playroom were actually very cold, there was a fireplace which was not regularly looked at and the fire was off quite often.
The breakfast was very poor one day there was not enough bread rolls, the cheese and salami were so thin and small cut that were even stuck and difficult to take from the plate.
Also there were no tags with description on the food so there was for example one plate with croissants both with filling and no filling which looked exactly the same so it was like playing a lottery. Not recommended for people with allergies because you can’t know what you are eating.

I like the comfort of the apartment. We were with a toddler and were looking for a place with kitchen, comfortable living room and comfortable bedroom. Everything was very clean and giving the idea of a spacious rooms, even if the bedroom was not so big, but with a cot and everything else - it was feeling comfortable.
While showering in the bathroom, the water doesn’t drain properly. It seems like the drain is clogged or partially blocked.

Close to the ski lift. Clean and cozy room. The food was good.
The parking lot is too small.

The area was beautiful and the hotel complex too. Many restaurants around with great food. Plus it's very close to the main ski area of Pamporovo. There was a sleigh on one of the wardrobes which we used with the kids.
The price was quite expensive for the quality of the apartment. Many of the lamps didn't work at all, the fridge didn't work either... there was one small desk on the bedroom completely unusable because there wasn't a single chair.

A lot of snow and ice on walkways in front of the hotel.
Loud music in front side of the restaurant at late hours, but it was managed on our request.

Location for skiing is perfect, and it's just a 5 minute drive to the town. The apartment was immaculately clean. It was also lovely and warm.
The bed, it's like two mismatched beds stuck together as a double. If you are plus sized there is no room between the bed and the wardrobe or the bed and the wall to access the bed, so you'd have to get in from the bottom. The shower was wild, enough hot water for one, it's not a big deal once you know. The fireplace seems to be just for show but the apartment was very warm anyway. No elevator to the room, again not a big deal but would not be suitable for anyone traveling with small kids or pets that need help on the stairs. My card was charged without agreement, that was annoying, I had planned to pay on another card so would have been nice to be asked. It's 20 lev per night per dog, which is absolutely no issue at all but again it would have been nice to have been informed, granted it wouldn't have made a difference but still.

Friendly staff, nice restaurant, great location.
Beds were not comfortable. No ventilation except opening windows.

The staff was very friendly. The room was big and heated all the time, the cleaning was good. The bed and sofa were comfortable, there was plenty of storage space for our luggage. The ski wardrobe was free of charge for the hotel guests.
There was a problem with the shower door in the bathroom which was barely standing. We reported this to reception but we didn't see any difference after. Basic breakfast and dinner, not worth the money paid for half board! Repetitive breakfast, fried eggs almost every day, fried slices of bread with eggs every day and fried sausages every day, almost everything was fried and oily. Various cheap cereal options. Dinner was basic and repetitive. The rental for sledge was 15lv, while another hotel near by was renting out for 7lv even if you are not a guest of their hotel. Not sure why there was such a big price difference ?

The location is great - walking distance from Studenets. The apartment looks better live than in the pictures. It was very cozy and comfortable. The kitchen utensils make it possible to cook your food (even though Excalibur restaurant that is in the complex is great too, and not super expensive). The staff is extremely friendly and always willing to help! In short - I highly recommend the place.

Very polite, friendly and cordial staff who genuinely wanted to help in any way! They even offered me to pick from a choice of apartments so I could select the mountain view I wanted. Simply excellent!!
No complaints at all!

I can heartily recommend this hotel. Location is excellent for skiing, staff was very friendly, they all spoke English. Our apartment was very spacious, beds (even sofa in living room) were very comfortable, there is guarded parking for hotel guests, great value for money. Also Excalibur restaurant was perfect place for dinner. Breakfast was basic but ok. If you are in Pamporovo for skiing, I can hardly imagine better place in this price range.
Just one advice for future guests - there was misunderstanding with ski rental that is part of hotel. They told me one price when I took equipment, but other one when I wanted to pay for it at the end of our stay. Everything was solved quickly to my satisfaction, but my advice is that you either pay when you take skis or to ask for written quotation to avoid above confusion.

The meals were excellent, the staff friendly and professional, the location near the ski run.
A bad smell was present in all the units near the ski runs, generally coming from the outside. Probably because the septic tank was not isolated and far enough away from the buildings.

The location and friendly staff
Thin walls and you could hear loud noises from neighboring rooma

The location, direct on the ski piste is very good
The view out of the apartment.
The parking area is large
The staff is helpful and friendly
The large amount of stairs to get down to the apartment and the fact that the stairs are not kept ice and snow free.
The parking area which is also not kept ice and snow free.
The apartment had no wifi reception. The noises of neighbors are traveling through the thin walls easily.
Breakfast is okay but the coffee machine makes horrible coffee, cappuccino can be purchased for 4.50 lev, which is steep price for one cappuccino.
Ski gear which they rent out is old and poorly maintained.

The apartment was sufficiently large to accommodate all of us ( 2 adults and 2 children).
I liked that there were enough heating devices in the room to overcome the -15 degrees Celsius outside.
The proximity to Studenets was also nice ( a short climb of 5-10 minutes).
The complex has a large free parking.
The breakfast was good with enough choice for everyone. The dinner was tasty too.
The apartment was rather simple and the painting on the walls was a little peculiar. I'm not sure about the other apartments because I visited somebody in another apartment and the painting was ok.

On arrival we were nicely surprised to find in the apartment a lovely gesture left for us as a repeat guests - a complimentary fruit basket and a bottle of mineral water. We booked a one-bedroom apartment again and it was spacious with a beautiful view to the slope. The kitchen was fully fitted with everything you need if you are too tired of the daily skiing and just want to enjoy a home meal and relaxing on the sofa – a large fridge freezer, a hob, an oven, a microwave, a kettle, you name it. As the weather was very cold on arrival our apartment was a bit cooler the first night. As soon as I reported this to the guy at the reception, he organised his colleague to bring us a complimentary logs and light the fire place (much appreciated!), as they didn’t have any extra portable heaters left at this moment. The following morning the hotel team took extra care to ensure our apartment is nicely warm - thank you! 😊 As we are a keen skiers and the weather conditions were perfect for skiing we asked the receptionist in advance if we could check-out a couple of hours later and after checking with the hotel director she let us know that we can do so.
Breakfast in the restaurant offered plenty of choices to satisfy everyone’s taste, very good quality and the staff were very polite.
Once again the biggest credit to this place is the friendly and efficient staff, nothing was trouble for them and they communicated so well between each other to ensure our smooth stay. Thank you to all the team at the hotel and hopefully we'll see you soon!
