Great for kids, nice pool

The view was spectacular and if you have a child you can watch them on the playground from the balcony. The apartment has spacious and the kids room in the hotel had everything to entertain a small child The póol was great!

The room faced the courtyard and playground, so it was a bit noisy until 11:30pm due to school groups organized activities outside. Also, other guests smoking on the lower level balconies prevented me from airing my room. Next time I will choose to forgo the mountain view to enjoy more quiet and fresh air.

We had a lovely stay with my family. The SPA sentre & little swimming pool is a great asset.

The hotel is situated very near Studenets ski lift & lots of ski wardrobes. We booked 2 bedroom apartment and the rooms were very spacious with beautiful views. The staff is very friendly. Free parking, good internet, ski wardrobe & very nice SPA centre.

Not ideal, I would look at the hotel next to the main slopes since this is a bit far and outdated

The hotel has an all inclusive feeling usually just for families since most of the rooms are just apartments, having two restaurants, pool, ski rental place and kids play room. There is kitchen with some plates and glasses, a microwave and a hot plate.

We booked this hotel because it was advertised that it had in room fireplace, when we got there they told us it's not working and from what I could hear from other guest most of them are out of order, the hotel is pretty old and needs refurbishing, the lower levels smell of food and chlorine from the pool. The pictures and description is misleading, even tho there is a picture of a ski lift that's only for a small ski run next to the hotel, to get to the main resort ski slope you have to either walk and carry your gear 15 minutes or drive, the parking is horrendous if you don't have a small car and park in the underground parking, in 5 days we have seen multiple accidents of people trying to get in and out of the small cramped car park. - Restaurant is decent but has the same limited menu, very poor choice of kids food.

Exceptional experience

The variety and quality of food was excellent. The apartment was clean, welcoming and spacious. Staff at Kamelia were always helpful and friendly, and in addition to our skiing endeavours we really enjoyed the spa and swimming pool facilities, as well as the pool table in the cosy bar area. We are looking forward to our next visit!

You have to take care not to bump your head on slanted ceiling on the top floor. The apartment was a little overheated.

Excellent winder escape

The size of the room, location and cleanliness were 10/10! The BBQ nearby has amazing food and atmosphere. The staff was really friendly and accommodating. The spa center provided 3 types of great saunas and one pool area - all great!!

The room was quite cold and there was no A/C as the hotel uses central heating system. The only other way you can have more heating is to pay 15 BGN for using the fireplace in the room with a single load of burners. In the SPA center there were facilities that were out of service: steam room and jacuzzi. The water that was in the jacuzzi was okay-ish, could have used some cleaning. The SPA opens at 10:00 AM but not all facilities were ready to be used - only the pool - the saunas were not turned on and cold upon opening hours.

I can’t believe about 4 stars hotel to I see imitation product butter at the breakfast,also I had to pay for bathrobe and spa center didn’t work on 100%,the gym was unprofessional very very poor!

The reception was great very helpful!! The breakfast was very good! The barbecue restaurant outside the hotel was really great!! The hotel was close to the ski lift.

The hotel was not so clean for four stars. The couch and chairs in our room are neglected and stained.

Great location in Rhodope mountains. Lovely spa -not very big, but sufficient. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment.

There were a few issues in the apartment which were fixed the next day.
