Fantastic stay in central sleek spot

Very spacious, silent, very comfortable beds, pillows, etc. kitchen was better equipped than most. In super good location, on a main drag of shopping with incredible architecture everywhere and a wonderful market at the end of the block. Walking distance to transit, bars, restaurants, everything.

We got an apartment that didn't look like the photos which threw me off. Instead of colorful and vibrant it was very minimal and neutral. Was a bit surprised by that but the unit was still very very nice. Only 4 coffee pods for 3 nights stay for 2 people.

Building not well maintained In the building there is an office space somewhat strange, elevator goes directly to the office which was open! Rooms are only accessible via the stairs. The building is protected (Denkmal) but nonetheless too pricey for this type of situation.

Bolzano is a truly beautiful town.

Apartment was very comfortable and in a great location.

We didn’t realize that check-in was in a different location from the apartment. We first went to the apartment and realized we needed to go somewhere else. We called and the agent was unable to talk. To us just then, said he’d call back in five minutes. We waited ten and then walked to where we were to pick up the keys. It was close to the apartment and there were two gentlemen in the office. They gave us the keys and instructions. Once we got back to. The apartment, it wasn’t at all clear on which floor the apartment was located. We called them again and then he came to help us. It would have been nice if they’d met us there when we arrived.

If the stairs don't bother you, we recommend it!

The location was excellent. Once we were parked, we could walk to everything we wanted to do in the city. The gentlemen taking care of us were super friendly, informative, patient, and available. Being from Alto Adige, they spoke both Italian and German, and one of them also spoke English well. The main room was very large (husband, wife, and two older teens had plenty of room in the two beds). The apartment had air conditioning, a kitchenette, sitting area for breakfast, a larger-than-usual-for-Italy shower, very good WiFi and plenty of storage. Pretty cool to be in this historical building.

Parking was difficult when we arrived because the machine to control entry to the garage was broken. However, we called the folks renting the apartment, and they met us at the garage and gave us a different way to get in. They were EXTREMELY helpful, so nothing against the people at all. It was just a little tricky to park in one place, get the keys in another (upstairs from the garage, but considered a different street address), and then walk to the apartment itself a few blocks away at a third address. Getting in and out of the parking garage was a little challenging. Somewhat expected in a city, but worth mentioning for the uninitiated. The apartments are in one of the oldest historic buildings in Bolzano, so it does not have an elevator. Carrying luggage for four of us up and down three flights of centuries-old stairs was not fun. There is no view, but again, to be expected in the city center. The room we had did not look at all like the photo here, but it had every amenity we could need. The old wooden floors are very nice, but also very creaky when you walk around (especially noticeable at night).

Fantastic location, close to restaurants, shopping, attractions and train station.

Fantastic location, literally above the main shopping street, close to restaurants and attractions and less than 10min walk to train station. Large room, plenty of bench space, comfortable bed, bathroom was ok. Our stay also included a Bolzano City Pass. We saved well over 100 Euro with free access to Cable Cars, museum entry, public transport and more. Would definitely stay there again. No lift, but considering the building is one of the oldest in Bolzano, ah well.

The location is central, the bed is comfortable, sofa bed ok if kids sleep on it.

The apartment was nice but the floor and carpets were not clean to start with. There was something that smelled really bad. We couldn’t determine where it came from until we noticed a wide sticky spot on the floor behind a curtain. We got itchy sleeping in one of the duvets, we wondered if a cat or a dog had slept in there. We had booked a 6 night stay and after two days we really needed to swipe/vacuum around but there were no tools provided to clean the floor. We texted the guy who was in contact with us asking for a vacuum cleaner but he never replied. So we spent our holidays among crumbs and dirt. We booked for 4 but it was difficult to eat all sitting at the same time as the table it self was too small and there was only one chair and a bench were 2 maximum could sit. When checking out we needed a transit permit and we asked for it via WhatsApp to our contact but again no answer. In order to avoid a fine we had to contact the police ourselves and explain the B&B guy didn’t provide an answer to our permit request.

loved the experience of old and new Bolzano and the location can't be better

the apartment is beautiful, the decoration is done with great taste, modern and comfortable. The building is old and very well kept it's just a beautiful experience to be inside that old building. I really enjoyed walking in the city and feeling like a local, coming back to my apartment at night and walking down to have a coffee in "i portici". I would definitely go back.

The apartment was right in the middle of town so everything within walking distance. It is beautifully furnished and equipped with everything we needed. Very comfortable bed. The kitchenette is a great design.

The shower was a little tricky to get into but worked well once we worked it out.

I would highly recommend the beautiful Arcade Apartments in Bolzano.

Both apartments were beautifully designed and decorated with high end lighting and furnishings. The building itself is 700 years old and whilst the apartments are modernised with air-conditioning and kitchen facilities they have not lost the original character and design of the era they were built in. This was particularly noted with the beautiful ceilings in the apartments and the building's internal staircase balustrade. The kitchen was discreet behind nice modern cabinetry and well stocked with plates and glasses for some basic meals and pre dinner aperitifs.

The pillows were uncomfortable and there were a few minor things missing (tea towels, extra pillow cases and towel hooks in one of the bathrooms) but Alex who managers the apartments checked in with us on our second day and asked for feedback. He was happy for the feedback and was already looking for replacement pillows which he agreed were too soft. He delivered tea towels and extra pillow cases that afternoon. Alex seemed very keen to ensure we had a great stay.

The apartment is located in a great place, right on the busy street in the center of town so as soon as you walk out you're very close to all the restaurants and shops. The room itself were spacious.

It wasn't made clear to us that this location did not have an elevator and one of the rooms was on the third floor which meant we had to carry our suitcases up the stairs. Although the host was very friendly in explaining how to get to the parking garage and obtain the keys, it was actually very difficult to find the apartment itself. The Key didn't work well and so it took several tries before we could open the door. The biggest concern was that the instruction of the apartments was not very clear. We were told one apartment was on the first floor and one on the third floor. Upon arriving on the third floor there were 3 separate units and no signage to indicate which door was ours. It turned out we tried to open the door of another unit which was a prviate residence and the owner had to come outside and tell us. I would have expected the host to be very clear on how to get to the right unit and at least put up a sign to clearly mark how to get to the apartment.

The stay was alright. Very loud due to screaming students in the middle of the night.
