Stay was not what we expected.

Location was great and room was spacious and very clean.

The walls were not sound proof. Our room was located on the first floor. We could not sleep due to loud noises and from up stairs and the room next to us. We got up and went for a walk and were back at our room at 10:00. Though we had not checked out yet our room was already being cleaned and getting ready for the next guest.

Roomy, affordable very helpful staff The Management was so accommodating and friendly. HIGHLY recommend we used to stay at another property we will be switching to Rockview from her on out!! The rooms are SO spacious!!!

We really enjoyed our stay. While it was not luxurious, it met every requirement.

Clean, comfortable, well-located, well- priced! Nice bathroom, hot water. Walk in straight from parking lot. Plenty of parking for free. Warm room without having to run the heater. Everything worked. Felt safe. Would stay again. I enjoyed this stay more than some of the recent fancy hotels we’ve been to!

The rug was kinda gross. The pics on site showed hardwood or vinyl. Towels were kinda rough looking as were the linens. Tiny toilets were a bit awkward. Soaps seemed watered down.

Overnight enroute to Southern California

Location is very close to major restaurants on strand. We just needed a safe clean place (that allows pets) to sleep while passing through. Due to late day booking, we had a room on the 2nd Floor, but stairs were well graded and climbing was not difficult for an elderly person, and I like not having anyone walking around above me, so room was pretty quiet. The Blinds instead of curtains blocked the light well. I would stay here again.

I drive an EV, and I would like a level 2 charger available at any hotel I stay at. I would be happier paying a $25.00 Per Day charge fee, than a $25.00 pet fee when I know my dog isn't going to do any damage (12Lb and has never been a chewer). Install a couple of Solar panels, and you make all the profit. Not sure if there are incentives to do that in the SBO area like there are in S California.

Wonderful!!!

The owner was the sweetest lady ever. The rooms are updated and very clean. We were very stressed when looking for a room and this turned out to be a perfect place. Just a block from the Embarcadero and The Rock. Absolutely a wonderful place.

Air conditioning doesn't stay on at night. Motion sensor i assume. So room doesn't cool down while sleeping.

The closeness to the main st.

The dicore was 1/2 finished, the shower was awful. Toilet leaked, heater was loud like it was breaking. And they advertise as pet friendly , but they have nowhere on their property to let them go. You have to go across the street and use the nebighorhoods lawns. Not impressed with the place for the price.

Gave away our rooms and turned us away; this place is not reliable.

We were fully charged 5 days before the day of the reservation, and when checking-in, the receptionist told us she couldn’t find our reservation. I showed her my confirmation number, and once she saw my name and confirmation, she started being rude. I explained I had even received a message from the property saying “we look forward to seeing you.” Anyways we asked if worst came to worst would we be able to rebook to which she responded she had just gave away their last two rooms.. which was funny because we had reserved exactly two rooms. Honestly, I believe she gave our rooms away before we got there and that’s why she was getting defensive. I would never return to this location, and I would definitely not recommend it.

Rockview inn at morror bay do better

It was clean. The staff was a nice lady loved the white sheets

Didn't like the water pressure. The tv shows they had sucked wifi was not to good it all had loading issues and the place is more for old folks. We tried to enjoy our night listening to music from our phone since thier tv network sucked which our phone isn't as loud and we're talking at normal voice we end up getting a call to be quiet so we didn't even enjoy our night their never came across that issue so I was upset after that especially with the amount of money I paid so we turned everything off and called it night but sadest part you can hear the people upstairs doing the damn deed while I have two little ones in the room with us but any who if they were or not doing bad things up their they still kept us feeling irritated with all the sqeeking movement so this hotel was a big fail for my family saddest thing with all that noise we were the bigger people and we didn't complain when going to a hotel you gotta understand we are going to enjoy our time u wanna go to just sleep stay the heck home or the hotel should have a side for the work travelers and people vacationing and the hotel says rockview inn but yet there really wasn't any view the way the hotel is facing. Another issue was the parking lot very SMALL had to worry about people hitting my car very tight spots.
