I stayed at this hotel about four times. This was the first time I’ve been back since they’ve upgraded some, or all of the rooms. I was really impressed with the way it looked…really clean and more seating options.

Our drive from San Francisco took much longer then expected. I tried calling the front desk to let them know it would be a late check-in, but as the young man and answered and I was about to explain the call dropped in Big Sur. I was panicked and didn’t know if we would have a place to stay the night and we were so tired. It was a huge sigh of relief when we arrived and there was an envelope for me. The room was very nice and clean, the beds comfortable, and the showers were great. I’m sad we had to leave so fast. We would rebook this stay if we ever found ourselves back in Morro Bay.

Mediocre overall. Bad beds. Shower weak and cumbersome controls.
