Relaxing and clean

We loved how conveniently it was located to all the shops in Morro Bay. Everything was walking distance from the Hotel so there was no need to take the car and drive to the beach. The room was clean, the staff was friendly, and the environment was very relaxing.

The only downside was the free internet was very spotty and did not work well. We only book hotels with Internet to do work while on vacation so it was a little disappointing to have to use our personal hotspots.

Peaceful little place in the center of it all.

Property is certainly located within walking distance of shops, food, coffee and boardwalk. If you cycle there are great toads to ride your bike with beautiful views.

Was disappointed that when I requested a late check out I was denied and the front desk want to charge me $30 after 11:30 am we stay there all the time. They did give us 30 mins. The bed was not comfortable at all. If they were to at least replace the mattress or add a foam top it would be perfect.

The staff was very helpful but going forward with no breakfast any longer, we will stay else where.

When I booked through Booking.com, it said it had breakfast which is one of my criteria when booking. That stopped on January 3rd, yet we were not notified of the change. Breakfast for two adds an additional minimum of $20-$30 daily, so we were not pleased with that. The hotel was very helpful when we decided to stay one day less than planned though.

Nice town to visit

The hotel was close to the beach and restaurants which we loved. The room was clead and spacious but it would be better if a little bit more thought was put into a modern decor. All in all the hotel was clean and room was spacious. We had a very good time. The town was lovely with lots to do and lovely walk. We ended up in the Italan restaurant. The food was yummy! Free parking was good bonus

Nice girls night getaway

The staff was kind,knowledgeable and friendly, yet professional. The suite was clean and large and decorated nicely. It had all the needed supplies stocked in the kitchen and bathroom. The fact that you needed a key card to access the building was a nice safety comfort.

The pull out bed we used as a third bed in the 2 bedroom suite was very uncomfortable and did not have pillows. Even though the booking.com website I used listed breakfast as an amenities,when we arrived we were told they no longer offer any breakfast.

The “bird” theme was endearing and creatively thought out. Staff was pleasant and responsive. The room was clean as were the common areas.

The hours of staff availability especially in the morning could be longer. The discontinuation of the free breakfast was disappointing.

Nice hotel in Morro Bay

+ Hotel has a nice style with birds pictures, photos and books; + We liked that our room was spacious, bathroom had both bath tub and shower separately; + Matrass was comfy and not too soft, nice to sleep on; + There was a bathrobe in the room.

- When checking in we were told the room would have a view to the Rock, but then it appeared that whole Rock side view was covered by a tree; - Fireplace wasn't working very well, stuff mentioned they are coming to fix it right now but didn't come in the next 40 mins; - We like it when hotels have breakfast, it is very convenient, it would be cool if hotel would keep offering breakfast and also make proposed food options better quality, having more options also would be nice.

Breakfast wasn’t sufficient. Don’t get why not offering boiled eggs and bread instead of putting effort to fancy croissant with meatballs and cheese. A normal croissant with nutella would do better.

It was a Wonderful stay, family friendly and just a enjoyable place

The charm, location, and value made our stay a great experience. This was our first time traveling to Morro Bay, and we discovered a gem in this hotel. I highly recommend it. We want to thank Wendy, Cindy, and Rachel, who were wonderful and made our stay truly enjoyable. We can't say enough good things about this place for anyone looking to get away and enjoy the beauty of Morro Bay. The restaurants and charm of the city made our visit even more special. Thank you

The property was absolutely fabulous. I appreciated the elevator because I’m 68. There were so many lovely and charming features about this place. The room was great and had everything I needed, but the facility itself was really really nice. I will stay there again for sure.

The breakfast was toast, hard-boiled eggs, oatmeal, amd waffles. There were also some fruit, muffins, and little cinnamon rolls and juice. Coffee was good! Our room was clean, comfortable, and relatively quiet. Laundry facilities clean and easy to find. Small patio areas on 3rd floor and lounge areas on floors were lovely. We throughly enjoyed our stay!

Would love to have more protein offerings with breakfast.
