Great location in Morro Bay, nice staff. Great springboard to see the area.

Very cute. Nice garden. We had a great view of Morro Rock out of our window. Claudia was super nice, and we really loved having her scones in the morning.

This is a bed and breakfast in the truest sense. We’re sort of new to that experience, but we would return. It was lovely.

At first I felt a bit overwhelming. Lots of things in the living room, but it was like a treasure trove of things to see.

Cute inn. Definitely a memorable stay!

Dan and his wife were super kind and accommodating when we had to check in late. The morning basket of goodies was very sweet. The room was extremely clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable and the linens were nice. The big, colorful towels in the bathroom were super! It was nice having morning coffee on the patio next to our room.

We had the rose room. It's quite busy and noisy with cars zooming by. I suggest ear plugs. You can also hear people upstairs and outside the room, which takes some getting used to. I would have liked to have a mini fridge, but we made due. The room didn't have an iron, but I'm sure if we asked, we could borrow one.

Good location for quaint/quirky small hotel with some comfort issues

Quaint small hotel in a great location. Room was a good size with a couple of arm chairs in so had it rained we would have been comfortable staying in the room.

The bed was awful and you felt like you had to cling on to the side or you would roll into the middle. A shame as the room was lovely otherwise. Anyone with OCD or dust allergies might want to avoid as the reception room has more clutter than a car boot sale including Christmas and Easter decorations at the same time! Owner didn't require if we enjoyed our stay or look for any feedback during or after our stay.

Loved this place for a number of reasons! Will plan to stay here the next time I am in the area.

The room was cozy, pretty and comfortable. Loved having a basket of continental breakfast items. The gardens were well maintained and I loved being able to walk to the Embarcadero to shop or eat. Also, being able to walk to the Rock was nice too.

Hmmmm, a small trashcan in the room would be nice. There is only one in the bathroom.

Comfortable stay in an old style lodging

The bed was exceedingly comfortable, room very clean and good quality toiletries provided.

The style is not modern and is furnished a bit like an old English country house. This doesn’t detract from the comfort, it’s just a bit unusual.

The hostess Claudia was wonderful. She was conversational, friendly, and helpful. She respected our privacy and gave us great tips about restaurants and nearby attractions. The facilities were homey and comfortable.

The only change I’d recommend is to offer breakfast yogurt not containing sugar substitutes. Otherwise the breakfasts were fine!

It was very nice, with freshly baked scones every morning, fresh fruit, granola, and yogurt. The breakfast was available to eat at the dining room or bring up to our room.

Where to start? Everything. To be more specific our initial impression upon arriving at the property was the beautiful garden that surrounds the Inn. It is obviously well taken care of & is so welcoming before you even get to the front door. Claudia (the Innkeeper) greeted us at the front door & it was instantly like being welcomed in by an old friend. We enjoyed chatting with her and learning about the Inn & the beautiful garden. Her presence is inviting but not overbearing or awkward. She immediately gave us a tour, showed us to our room. She was there as we came & went but it was never uncomfortable. This was our first time staying at a B&B and it won’t be our last. The breakfast was perfect in size & the coffee was amazing. Our room was perfect. We were in the Rose Room & it was decorated so beautifully. The bed was so comfortable & the sitting area in our room was perfect for unwinding at the end of the day. I can go on & on but I’ll stop here.

The inn and our room were charming, the innkeeper very welcoming and helpful, the breakfast was very nice. Although our room faced a road with a decent amount of traffic, it was very quiet. The location was good, only two blocks from the Embarcadero.

It was chilly in the morning as the heat was not working but that was no one’s fault.

The breakfast basket was nice. The room decor was cozy. Bathroom well stocked with necessities. Great hair dryer too.. not the tiny cheap ones you get at big hotels.

No fans in the room.. it was a warm weekend. There was a mouse trap in visible sight.

- Second visit to this hotel and it is still exceptional! - Nice to see coffee maker added to the room! - Also liked new carpet in the room, nice and soft! - Same as last time there are cool decorations in the hotel and great view from the window! - And we were glad to meet the owner!

- Not a lot to complain, last time I said there's no kettle in the room - this time there was a coffee maker, so it's fixed. - Bad was still a bit too soft for my preference and also bed is a bit squeaky.

I believe the bed is bowing and mattress softer. it squeaks. maybe it’s time to replace it with a sturdier bed set.
