Ascot Suites Morro Bay

The ladies at the front desk were the most helpful and amazing during our stay. They made the trip effortless for us from the moment we checked in to the moment we left. We enjoyed the hotel so much that we decided to extend our stay and they helped get that all set up while we were out taking a tour of Hearst Castle. The breakfast was really nice including hot eggs, sausage, and waffles- not a normal continental breakfast. The happy hour with wine, cheese, crackers, and fruit was amazing. We made new friends while sipping our wine next to the fire pit on the new rooftop deck!

The beds weren’t that comfortable. We had trouble with the bath tub- we had to use the shower head to fill the tub. Both rooms we used did not have a screen and one of the balconies was so small it only had one chair.

The manager and front desk staff were friendly and courteous. Room was spacious, clean, and well appointed. Great view of Morro Rock and the ocean from my window. Breakfast and happy hour are included. I’ll definitely be back!

First night was uncomfortable the bed not good to sleep in .

It was a nice older property, the location was good and the room was relatively clean. Staff was helpful.

The pictures on the internet oversold the views and the room layout. In reality it under delivered on its feel and view. The Tudor suite was oddly shaped and had much less room than it seemed on the inside. Not worth the premium room rate.
