Clean, spacious, welcoming
As Europeans we are maybe used to different breakfast.. this was somehow fast food style, but nevertheless quite ok!!

The walls are a bit thin I could hear another guest dog but luckily they only stayed for a night and the dog only barked during the day not night

customer service, shower head, roof top, breakfast, happy hour, location to Dorn’s restaurant,
Suggestions:
1. the bathroom gout should be change when it turns black.
2. shower could use a bar handle to help step over the jacuzzi bathtub.

The hotel was very nice the staff very friendly and helpful
Breakfast probably the worst breakfast we have come across, but it’s a case of something is better than nothing, shame would like to stay again but the cost of the room with breakfast probably means we won’t

The room was very spacious, a little dark, but very roomy. The happy hour wine and the rooftop deck were excellent for sunsets. Great parking and close to everything. Great property!
Lighting in the interior of the room is a little dark. Had a great table to use for cards etc, but there was not enough light

Could not find something we did not like.

The rooftop area was lovely. We enjoyed our wine while taking in the views and sunset.
Everything was nice, we enjoyed our weekend stay. The only reason I rated a 9 rather than a perfect 10 is because we could here the guests in the room next to us talking. The man had a booming voice that came right through the wall. The breakfast could have been a bit better. The space for that area is so small, I get it, we’ve experienced far better “breakfast included” stays.

The location is within walking distance of everything we did from coffee to dinner and lunch they don’t charge for you to park your car on the property definitely going back!

I stayed on Christmas Eve during a big storm. The room was great and the people also staying through the storm were kind and courteous. The staff was very nice.
Staff was very busy being the only person available to support the breakfast on Christmas Morning. I had to go to lunch so I just had coffee but I would probably have eaten something. It just seemed very busy.

The Ascot has been a great surprise as we have spent New Year's Eve twice there, it's a great place to spend time with our adult children and reconnect. the Rooftop Patio is the spot to ring in the new year, along with friends, family, and random guest it's a blast. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, located in the heart of Morro Bay close to dining and nightlife.
Only spent one night .

Location was perfect and walkable to many of the shops and restaurants. Like the side door entrance for coming in and out whenever anyone wanted
Random tiles missing in the elevator. Hotel seemed a little unkept. Room was by the elevator and people were very loud coming in and out. Woke us up twice at 2am.

The property was very nicely remodeled, and so close to everything we needed. The hotel manager was amazing, and so accommodating to us. We were there for a wedding and she moved us to the 3rd floor to stay with the rest of the wedding party. Staff was so helpful, and welcoming. Views and location a bonus😍😍 Will be staying here again soon!!

This hotel was amazing!! We stayed a week for our wedding. When we got there they upgraded us to the one bedroom suite. The manager Bina took care of us. She checked on us number of times, telling us if we need anything to let her know. She is super sweet and caring person!! I wish more hotel managers cared and were involved with guests like she is!! The staff were very friendly. The room had an amazing views, is spacious and clean!! We really loved having a fireplace in our room!! My wife and I will be staying here again the next time we visit Morro Bay!!
The mini fridge didn't get cold enough to keep our leftover food good. The temp didn't change no matter what setting i tried.

The hotel was in a great, central downtown location, a short walk to bars, restaurants and the water front area, as well as along the beach to Morro Bay Rock.
The hotel was very clean and comfortable, and the outside rooftop area was very pleasant with lovely views over Morro Bay.
The room was, clean and comfortable and spacious with fridge and hot drinks making facility.
The staff, especially Becky and Bina were very friendly, polite and very helpful.
The hotel was good, however there wasn't any shower gel in the room (the dispenser was empty).

Roof top view great, staff very nice. The location great, just one block up from lots of great restaurants along the water. I asked to change rooms and the staff were very accommodating. I got a 1 bedroom because I stay up later than my husband. The first room the sitting area didn’t have a tv. So they moved us. Room was clean and comfortable. Good breakfast with fresh waffles, eggs and good selection of other breakfast foods. Glass of wine in the evening with cheese and crackers.
The couch in sitting area was quite low and the armrests would fold out, I assume so someone could sleep there. So when I would get up I had to be sure to push off with the couch seat as the armrest would collapse.

The breakfast was quite simple, but enough to keep you full before heading out for the day. The rooms are spacious, with a beautiful view of the rock and the sunset.
The front desk staff could have been friendlier and more welcoming.

The hotel was pet-friendly and didn't have any issues around it.
Parking was free and always a spot available, great plus.
Room was clean, nothing to complain here.
Took one of those pay online deals, paid ahead of time, got to the property and the hotel told me they had downgraded my room because they had nothing available from what I booked (King with Balcony).
Told me to talk to booking.com since I paid them directly. They did offer to move me the next day, but we didn't want to pack up again change rooms and re-pack, we were there for 2 nights only. We ended up checking out a day early.
Called booking.com, they told me it was the hotel's fault and that the hotel was not responding to their inquiry for more than 24 hours. So there you go, don't know who's lying. I was not upset about it at the property but later felt like i got screwed over. I actually paid in full for the room BEFORE checking in, but no one reached out to me BEFORE i got to the hotel to inform me about the downgrade, makes me think that they gave our room to someone else because we arrived 2-3 hours late.
Would not stay again just for that whole thing. I guess double check they still have your room before you get there.

Hallways were less clean looking as rooms. A bit noisy and the bed was comfortable enough but very firm.

Location and quiet
Broken elevator, dirty stained carpet in hallways, very few towels

We loved the roof top hangout spot. It was nice and had a great view.
We were very disappointed that the elevator was not working and we didn’t know about it until check in. We were roomed on the third floor and I have a bad knee so it was a struggle to walk up and down the stairs to our room. It prevented us from leaving to go do to much because it was a struggle for me to get back up to the room.

I loved all the extras, the wine and cheese was a nice touch and the breakfast was delicious with lots of variety. The rooms were big and nice to have king bed and great location. Highly recommended
The roof was great option but was a bit smelly with sea gull poop
6.0 / 10.0
Great location, unique character, nice rooftop sitting area. Worth booking if there are no other options. Would happily stay again.
Below average cleanliness. The room surfaces were dusty and the bathroom soap dispenser was empty. Our floor was missing an ice dispenser and both microwaves were broken. The breakfast quality was very poor for the price paid, being almost identical to that of a cheap Best Western we stayed in earlier in our trip.
10.0 / 10.0
The room was very large and very fancy. The bathroom was more modest, but no complaints (it just wasn't huge the way the main room was). Breakfast was pretty basic, but there are plenty of cafes within a few blocks and the area felt very walkable. I partly picked Morro Bay because of T Pier, which was pretty close to the hotel - and we did indeed get to watch sea otters in the morning, along with pelicans and various other sea birds.
We showed up after the front desk closed and received unclear instructions for getting our room keys. We parked in one of the outdoor spots, and it took me a while to figure out that I was supposed to walk through the parking garage to the lockboxes at the far end.
