Location was good, not great, but good.

Your description showed a hot breakfast which was raved about on the yelp ratings. NO BREAKFAST (hot nor cold) was provided and no compensation was offered. Staff was noncommittal- wouldn't assist unless directly asked. Bikes for free with our res, BUT we had to get air for tires (really?). Bright light outside shined directly in our window (bad for sleep), which we finally got turned off only to have it put back on the next night. No compensation for no breakfast despite rave reviews and stated inclusion on your website - buying breakfast for 3 days was about $100 for two of us plus inconvenience.

Comfortable, roomy yet cozy. And it is so convenient to the bayfront!

The rooms are roomy; there is a gas fireplace which is nice in the winter months. Staff are friendly and accessible. It was a disappointment that they have STOPPED OFFERING BREAKFAST but they gave us great recommendations of where to get it (Frankie and Lola's - the best!). Convenient, quiet, nice outdoor spaces although small. It does in fact have the feel of a bungalow, although the units are all attached in a "U" configuration. Our group had 4 rooms the weekend we were there and we were all pleased.

We hope that breakfast comes back. They had done a great job with it in the past.

I liked the cleanliness of the room, and the thoughtfulness of having nice robes to borrow, and even an umbrella was available. The fireplace in my room made it special, and I enjoyed the outdoor fire pit. I appreciate, greatly, that there was a minimum of plastic used in the room…the glasses, rather than plastic cups, and the coffee in the glass jar, rather than the plastic pods or other trash……really was impressed. I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, and nice staff.

Maybe the landscaping near the entrance, could be improved…..I recommend lots of native plants/succulents. It would look a lot better. (The description online said there was a garden…?)

Was hoping to love this place.

Location was GREAT!

Main issue is the walls are so thin I could hear every single conversation, etc from the room next door. And there were about 10 men in it. They even brought in extra mattresses so they could pile on the floor. Bathrooms tiny. Also, breakfast was mentioned, but no such thing. Parking is challenging.

This is my second time. Will make this my favorite spot. Great place for the price

Breakfast was simple and just right. The room was clean and exactly what I needed. Quiet and perfect to sit outside in one of the outdoor seating areas. Taking walks to restaurant and ocean was so convenient and with beautiful weather it was a must do.

Person next door had clonking shoes which you heard all night and day. Love the floors but not everyone is courteous. Needed a microwave. Parking is crazy. Red curb is so faded you don't know if it is parking or not. Need signs posted.

Location as good and the rooms were clean

I emailed for and early check in and was told to call on my way down. When I called about 30-40 minutes out, I was told that my room would be ready and they could accommodate an early check in (about a hour and a half early). When we got there, we were told our room wasn’t ready, they only had one maid with 8 rooms to clean. That would have been ok, since check in technically wasn’t until 3. But I felt like I was lied to on the phone for some unknown reason. The person in the office was very nice until I questioned her about our conversation. She repeated that check in wasn’t until 3 and implied that we were lucky to be checking in around 2. Not a great way to start out our stay. After that incident, she was very nice and acted like nothing happened.

the breakfast was wonderful. the staff more than nice. Quaint and very humble place to stay. shower, refrigerator, fireplace, mini split a/c heater. extra towels on demand, it's a really nice surprise. parking! park anywhere on property and 5 spots on the backside!

Charming Beach Bungalow Inn

We were able to park directly outside of our room which was Very helpful and made it easy for one traveler with walking challenges to quickly get inside our room. Our one bedroom with a full kitchen, one and half bathrooms and living room was very quiet, quiet, charming and comfortable. All the upgrades and quality were done intentionally with others in mind. They had make up remover towels, robe, heater in the bedroom and living room and there was a Journal to annotate how you enjoyed your stay. It was very intentional and the Breakfast was Delicious. The Beach Bungalow Inn is a few blocks from the bay, so it was an easy walk, but you have to walk up the hill on the return, but it was great to exhale and smell the fresh sea air.. When I returned, I was able to sit by the fire pit which was Nice and what I really liked was that I could not hear my neighbors in the next room. Very quiet surroundings as well. The accommodations were Great and I'd stay here again.

The sleeper couch in the living room needs replacing as the cushions are a bit worn and the toilet in the half bathroom didn't flush properly. I informed the owners daughter of these items, and she said they'd be addressed and couch replacement was their next project.

The property is located within walking distance to the Embarcadero and other nearby conveniences and local favorites. The exterior aesthetic and maintenance is quaint, cozy, and welcoming. There is some through traffic during the day, but it becomes practically non-existent as evening approaches. Inside, the rooms are clean, well stocked, beautifully and thoughtfully appointed, and we loved having our own fireplace! The breakfasts are truly delicious, prepared and delivered to your room, with those little personal touches that make it feel special. Staff goes above and beyond and they are personable and friendly; they are quick to respond when you need extra supplies or even have any questions about the area.
