Best view of the bay and Morro Rock.

Best hotel view in Morro Bay. I call Morro Bay the only east-coast fishing village on the west-coast. Get a room on the third floor, if possible. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Park at the hotel and you can walk to all the shops and restaurants from there. Get a fish sandwich at the Hut. Always bring a jacket to Morro Bay!

We had a nice stay.

The Landing is a nice facility, location to restaurants near by is great, the view from our room #110 was nice, pretty quiet, bed was comfortable.

The electrical needs a little work, bedside lamps have a short of some kind, the lower plugs in several of the outlets don't work. The light cover in the bathroom needs to be cleaned of the dead bugs, the light above the coffee station is not bright enough to see what your are doing. Pillows could use an update. Smokers were just outside our room, leaving cigarette butts on the ground leading up to our room. Motorcycles parked outside our room letting them warm up for 15 minutes before 7am. ,

Reserved an ocean view room for our Papa also called and spoke to someone to make sure was told yes we had one. When we arrived we ended up getting a room under a staircase (partial view). And was told that’s all that was available.

The in room fireplaces have been replaced with ceiling heaters which is not my preference. Additionally, the room didn’t have extra blankets.

It would have been nice to have a window on the water side. The patio doors are nice but you can't leave them open to get the ocean sounds. Also would have been nice to have an elevator.

The location was perfect and staff were all friendly

The bathroom sink was for a doll house. No vanity/counter for toiletries. Old school little bottles of shampoo. Dirty and old. Baseboards were filthy. Not worth the money at all. The coffee maker was a pour over. Even the cheapest hotels have a mini Keurig nowadays

There was no stay, as Motel was closed without information

We booked and got a confirmation. When arriving at the motel, there was no information at place but closed. Nobody picked up the phone. A band tune on the mailbox informed us that the Motel is temporary closed for several weeks due to remodeling. So we had to search for another hotel verx short term. No communication, we had booking confirmation. We even got asked (bot obviously), when we plan to arrive at the day of booking ON the day of booking.

Damp uncomfortable stay

Easy to find, parking was ok , room was on the ground floor

Tv didn’t work very well, WiFi unreliable, room felt damp, unable to use kettle/ water heater / coffee maker thing where it was supposed to be as no electrical connection! Bathroom shower door leaked water on the floor making an already damp room worse , towels didn’t dry properly as the weather was cool ! All bar’s restaurants and shops closed for 8.30pm See first comment!

Lovely place to stay for a trip to Morro Bay

Such a great place to stop over at! We were in room 112 which was really lovely! Receptionist was really helpful. Kids loved being able to take snacks from the reception area. Good pour over coffee on the room. Great sized room.

The staff was fantastic. The location was excellent. The room was nice and big and the beds were comfy.

Our room wasn't cleaned on our 2nd day. When I asked that afternoon, I was told that I needed to ask for it to be cleaned before 9am. I've never stayed in a hotel where I had to ask.

I would definitely stay again if the places to plug in were more numerous and the floor was clean.

Location was fabulous. The design of the rooms was absolutely great in that every room has an ocean/rock view. The property was very clean. The bed slept fine. Staff were friendly. The location is also walking distance to so many places. That made it wonderful for exploring.

The room had no place to really lay out personal items. I assume most people use the coffee bar, like I did. The number of outlets to plug in electronics for 2 adults was barely enough. I had to crawl under a table to plug in my last item. But the worst thing was that the floor was dirty. It may have been vacuumed but it had not been mopped in quite a while and if you stepped on it barefoot your foot would come away dirty. That’s really not acceptable.

Morro Bay is a Fabulous Place to visit.

This hotel was great! The beds were comfortable. The little fireplace was different. No iron or ironing board. Staff was great. within walking distance to sights and food. The best part of Morro Bay are the otters. There were so many!

Great hotel in a great town.

Fabulous position, we had a large room on 2nd floor with great views of the rock and the sea. The room was immaculate and had everything you could possibly need, including comfy beds and bedding, fridge, microwave, coffee making, good shower, nice bathroom products and a fireplace (which we didn't need at this time of year). Highly recommend, could have stayed much longer.

The coffee machine in Reception wasn't working but not a big problem because we were still able to make drinks in our room.
