Sharing parking with the public,if your staying at the motel,need to have a reverse parking for who are staying there.

I arrived during check-in hours and there was no one in the office or in the grounds to check us in. My voice and text messages were not answered. It was a holiday weekend and there was little else available for the night. I ended up getting a refund from Booking.

Very friendly staff, we had a late check in after office was closed and accessing our room was incredibly easy. Our room (room 12) had the most amazing view, seafront and morro rock in sight. The garden and patio areas are the cutest and super cozy. You get a parking permit, and the rooms come equipped with a keurig and k-pods. You also get a certificate for a cinnamon bun at the cute little cafe next door. The rooms are walking distance to so many wonderful attractions and amazing restaurants. An older building, very charming indeed!

There was no AC so it did get a little hot in the room, however there was a fan you can place in the window to help bring in the fresh sea air, which did help cool the room down a little bit. The only other issue was the shower, a very small amount of what seemed to be mold spores on the ceiling but I imagine it’s difficult to keep the humidity down, right next to the beach and in the bathroom, which did have a window and a ceiling ventilation system so plenty of airflow still, it could have just been some kind of discoloration as the building is older.

Quaint, cozy setting with a view of the bay. Small rooms but all necessities available. Across from wharf. Close to all restaurants and shops. Could take early morning walk. No driving necessary. Owner offered all customers free cinnamon buns as a morning treat by local restaurant located next door.

No water pressure in faucet or shower. Shower drain did not drain water backed up quickly.

For a quick fun getaway this was great! If you don’t demand anything fancy and want a unique experience ride by the rock, go here! Super nice people and right in the middle of town. Not luxurious by any means but cheap and fun!

Great central location. Room small but doable for two . Excellent view of the Rock from the 2nd floor corridor.

Tiny rooms. They advertised a bottle of wine didn't get it. Rooms very dark, old. Room was clean and good location. Would not stay there again.

It’s conveniently located near everything.

There was no one at the front desk to check in. We arrived at 7 in the evening. Booking website says check-in is from 3pm to 11pm. I was on the phone with Booking reservation and they were extremely rude. Then they connected me to Booking AI ridiculous! In the meantime a guest overheard my frustration. They spoke to another guest who had 2 rooms and gave me one of the rooms. I finally got ahold of someone. Who said they could find another hotel. By then we had placed our luggage in the room. After everything was said and we missed dinner and had to find to closest Taco Bell to eat something. I truly believe that Booking.com should have given me a refund. Total miscommunication between the hotel and booking!

The location. On the Embarcadero across from the rock. We like the seating area in front of the rooms. Perfect for morning or evening hanging out We really liked the bed and pillows. Was surprised they were so nice, actually! Very good for my back! We loved the cinnamon rolls! We loved how accommodating and kind the gentleman was who checked us in! Really great views in certain upper rooms!

The remote does not work! It did not work in the room our friends had as well. We had no hot water at the bathroom sink.

The location was okay. We could walk to restaurants and the waterfront.

This property is very old (in Morro Bay this is the norm, but this one is very old). The walls are so thin we could hear everything from other rooms, and I was kept up all night by a neighbor snoring. (I should say "roommate" as it felt like the whole motel was sharing one room). The bathroom' floor has so much dry rot that I was afraid that the toilet would crash through the floor onto the first floor every time I sat on it. It was literally like walking on a trampoline. And it smelled like it. I wanted to check out after the first night, but my husband talked me into staying, since we had prepaid and there would be no refund. We had plans all day and he said "we are only sleeping here anyway, how bad can it be? - Well? Let me tell you! After getting to sleep very late, we heard what sounded like a loud explosion, and many people in the motel screaming and yelling expletives. We then discovered that the power was out. A transformer must have blown. So, no lights in a room with only a small window, no A/C, no fan, no refrigeration (needed for insulin) no way to charge phones, etc, no hot water, bathroom pitch dark. And no one in the office. The other guests continued to shout and go on for a couple of hours, which was no good for sleeping, then the snoring started again, until everyone started leaving at dawn around 5 am. So a bad night. When we packed up to go I tried to talk to the owner about it and I said "I assume we will get a refund" He just laughed it off. I also sent a couple of emails about it and finally called. He ended up hanging up on me. Anyway, I wouldn't recommend this place.

The owner was very friendly and a pleasure to work with for our stay with my dog.

Only downside was another guest outside their room talking at 6am and it woke us up.

Excellent location near otter watching and walkable to food and shopping too This is a cute little teeny Motel tucked in between some other restaurants and shops, and the room was just big enough to fit the bed but very clean and nice vinyl flooring. I'm not sure what was going on with the wall behind the toilet, but it didn't cause any problems. Despite arriving after the time their office closed, they left a note on the office door telling me how to check into my room so that was not a problem. They did ask in that note that I return the next morning after 9:00 a.m. to complete my booking, which I had done online, and I really wanted to leave before 9:00 a.m. but I stuck around per their request, and when I went to the office, it turned out they didn't need anything from me after all... so it was kind of a waste of my time. I'm not sure why they did that. But they were very friendly. I look forward to returning the future - it was a perfect spot for a great value.

The room was dirty. The sheets barely fit the bed. The shower had cracked tiles, and the water was barely warm. I actually worried that the mattress was clean. I dare not look.... Management seemed very laps and should have addressed the issues of cleaning standards.

Good location and John was friendly and helpful.

Room needs paint, deep cleaning, broken furniture, old bed, no decor and very small room. Not worth the price.

I did not have breakfast there. I left early. The only complaint I have was the water pressure in the bathroom and the barking dog three doors down.
