Tranquil Oasis in beautiful Sirmione

The most amazing staff and so welcoming from the time you step into hotel, had a late flight home and Elena sorted us out with a late checkout which was excellent for us, breakfast amazing, rooms lovely, location perfect, a beautiful calm oasis in the hustle and bustle of Sirmione, this hotel had everything and more 😁

Amazing location and wonderful host Elena and husband , made our stay just winderful . Convenient parking that was set up by the host and all the instructions were given clearly. On Mondays live music in a lovely garden and free drinks .

Beautiful garden patio on the lake, close to everything, a staff that makes your stay delightful.

Location is super: right on the Lake, big lovely outdoor garden patio for dining, cocktails. Walk to everything. Breakfast buffet was utterly amazing. The owner/managers are super gracious, friendly, knowledgeable, caring, and professional. They get 5/5 stars for making our stay totally fun and enjoyable. The beds were very comfortable.

We were on a waitlist to upgrade to a lake view room but unfortunately none became available. Our room and bathroom were small and a bit awkward to move around in, but we got used to it and made it work!

Fabulous property in the heart of sirmione. The owners were fantastic, so helpful and so many added extras that made the hotel extra special. Breakfast was excellent. Hotel is a quiet oasis in the bustling sirmione.

Great hotel in the middle of Sirmone

Brilliant hotel, smack bang in the middle of Sirmone. Great staff, and a very warm welcome. Rooms are spacious, with tea making facilties. Ideally located with plenty of shops and attractions around the hotel. Cannot go wrong with this hotel. Fabio and Elena gave the best service possible. Thank you.

Unfortunately the breakfast wast a little lacking. Continental breakfast, lots of pastries, bread and fruits about but would have preferred fresh cooked eggs, too.

Great hotel and service, i fully recommend

Everything was exceptional, especially the kindness of the personnel, the service, the location. We had twice dinner at the terrace at sunset and the atmosphere was great, the dishes very tasty. The terrace is great for sun bathing. The property offers some special events for free for the guests: we had local wine tasting with cheese: great. The rooms are comfortable and calm in a typical style. We could leave our bikes in the garden. Breakfast was good, great variety of sweet cakes. The only thing that could have been even better is tot have more variety of fruits. The personnel was very attentive for my husband needs for gluten free breakfast and dinner The best Hotel I have stayed at.

Exceptional service in the perfect location

It was in the heart of beautiful Sirmione making it quick and easy to get to the shops, restaurants, spa, beach or gardens. The service was the best part. All the staff was exceptional. They made us feel welcome from initial contact and helped us coordinate our arrival and departure from the nearest train station. The breakfast was the best breakfast I’ve seen at a hotel. The spread of food was huge and most importantly it was delicious! They had savory and sweet options. They had juice, milk, and made cafe to order. They had an absolutely gorgeous outdoor garden space. It also had a wonderful private outdoor seating area right on the lake. This made it a perfect place to enjoy the sunset over the Dolomites mountains. We would stay here again in this inviting, friendly hotel again for sure. We stayed here as a couple on our anniversary but it would be great for families or individuals as well.

Exceptional and memorable

We thoroughly loved our stay at Hotel Catullo. We couldn’t believe our magnificent room. It was a corner room, top floor, overlooking the lake. It is a family run hotel, the service was outstanding and the breakfast was even better. We sat out on the deck overlooking the lake every morning. The hotel also provided a free lake garden boat ride one evening and was followed by a wine and cheese tasting. To top it off the location was fabulous.

Amazing hotel in Sirmione

The best hotel we stayed at during our 2 Weeks in Italy. Beautiful hotel with exceptional staff who were so helpful and friendly, and the hotel includes the most amazing breakfast you will ever see! There are free activities offered by the hotel also, including a boat trip and wine and cheese tastings. The lakefront location and facilities, including provision of tea/ coffee/milk when requested, made our stay extremely comfortable. We would definitely recommend staying here when in Sirmione / Lake Garda.

I enjoyed every bit

Amazing location in Sirmione old town, close to everything but still when you enter, you can escape from all the chaos. The room was wide and clean with daily roomkeeping. The bed was comfortable. The quality of the restaurant/bar is superb, you can find almost everything in much better quality compared to other restaurants. The breakfast was also great with high number of options. But what I enjoyed most and why I would definately come back was the service. The service was excellent with smiles, a welcoming, helpful attitude and joyful moments. I would definately recommend.

Lovely base for our picture perfect vacation

The location in the heart of Sirmione’s central city was amazing. We really enjoyed hopping on ferries to see the sites. The staff was friendly and the accommodations comfortable.

The room could have been more comfortably furnished, but we were in it very little because it was beautiful outside.

Sirmione is a beautiful part of lake Garda and I would highly recommend Hotel Catullo

The hotel was in an excellent central location along the beautiful piazzas and castle. Easy walking distance to everywhere. The breakfast was lovely and great coffee. I can't say enough about the staff. Each and everyone was very friendly and nothing was to much trouble. The garden and deck looking out on the lake was beautiful and peaceful.

Fabio , Elena & their team are so professional and welcoming. They cannot do enough for you. The evening meal in the restaurant was exceptional. Fabio’s knowledge of wine really complimented the meal and mad it a special occasion. We also loved his guidance and expertise of gin and tonic at the end of every night. Cannot recommend enough.

Hotel Catullo is a jewel. There are certain places that are more than just a Hotel, they embody a spirit which imprints a memory into your heart, this is one of those places. The owners and the staff were incredible. Going above and beyond what is needed and demonstrating that they really care about your well-being.
