The location was brilliant. Right in the centre of town. Brilliant views of the lake. The hotel was very central to everything.

There was an incident in our room due to the floor being very slippery. My wife fell over and injured herself. The staff within the hotel at that time were no helpful towards what had happened.

Beautiful lakefront stay with excellent breakfast

This lovely accommodation is wonderfully located inside the Sirmione castle walls. We parked outside and used the free shuttle to enter, which was very convenient. The property sits right on the lake, and early mornings and late evenings are wonderfully quiet once the tourists have left. The staff were friendly, and the breakfast was excellent. Overall, a fantastic stay!

The shower in the small bathroom was very narrow, but the bathroom with a bathtub was fine.

The peninsula is beautiful. Many things to walk to, the Roman ruins, a castle, and nice beaches.

The location was right on the lake. Breakfast was excellent A restaurant located at the hotel. Had a sun deck, and dock. The beds were very comfortable. Great location for shopping and eating and sightseeing.

Lovely hotel, large rooms, very modern, great location and fab breakfast!

Beautiful room with a great view and perfectly located to enjoy Sirmione. Breakfast was exceptional!

The room needs blackout curtains and it took a long time to ask for pillows. I also requested separate beds for my children as we had a junior suite but the hotel were unable to accommodate.

EXTREMELY dated bedrooms. We booked 2 rooms as we were a family of 4. One of the rooms was a deluxe - not sure what made it deluxe?! Bedrooms were tired and shabby and in desperate need of updating and modernising.

Location was excellent!

The room was spacious and clean, comfortable beds and the breakfast was excellent!! Staff members were very friendly and helpful, we had a stunning lake view from our room with a balcony. We used the public park on the right as you approach the old town, i would not recommend to drive in the old town (to much people).

Disaster

Our stay in Flaminia hotel turned to be a complete disaster. When booking the hotel I was specially looking for a hotel with a parking provided and in Booking description it was specified that the Hotel provide parking service organized by the hotel at an additional price. When we arrived to the town center it turned out that there is no access to the hotel by car and Booking.com was supposed to send us detailed information with a code and an explanation how to enter the parking. I never received it. So we were blocked at the Town center entrance with the car and were trying to reach the hotel by phone. The phone number provided by Booking was not working. Luckily serity staff helped us to find a number that was working. After we arranged everything with the parking (under 40 degrees of heat), we finally got to the hotel. The hotel itself has a wonderful view, very nice direct lake access from the hotel's beach, beautiful and comfortable view and design. But unfortunatley a very rude and unprofessional staff. Next morning when checking out it turned out that we should have booked a transfer to the parking in advance (and of course no one told us that at check-in) and now we were supposed to wait 40 minutes for the next bus to come. With a flight leaving that was of course not possible. On our complaint with the Recepotion that they should ask guests in advance if they know that transfer needs to be booked, the reception staff started shouting at us with a loud voice, that it is our problem and Booking.com should have given all the information so we should write complaint to Booking.com. After we left with suitcases waliking by foot to the parking, receptio staff started to laugh at us behind our back. You can see how many times have I booked with Booking.com different types of properties, being Genius level 3, and never ever have I lefgt any complaoint. But this was totally unaccpetable.

Great hotel and location,

Loved the location and the view from the lake view room especially when enjoying a drink and watching the sunset and the activity on the lake. Room was reasonable size, bed comfortable and good sized bathroom.

We did feel it was a bit awkward sitting on our balcony enjoying the view when there were people below sitting in their spa which you looked straight down on to. Glad I didn’t choose those rooms as they didn’t really have any view.

Bugs all over the room

Avoid this hotel at all cost. Extremely rude staff. We were placed in the room that was totally full of bugs/flies. After our complaint, they accused us that we have left the window open, even though we didn’t touch it. Instead of apology, they accused us, and offered us a bug spray. People at reception were not polite throughout the entire stay. Breakfast service was also very bad. Limited options.

Great stay would book again

Location is amazing doesn’t get back. Right in the waterfront and close to ferry docks and in the heart of Sirmione Quiet evenings and morning as the crowd disappeared Rooms are comfortable and clean Breakfast was good with lovely view of the lake We had to check out early the morning missing breakfast and they were able to offer us coffee and a grab and go bag.

Unfortunately the hot water supply seemed unreliable during our stay. First day it went down they called in a technician to address it. Came back then on our third day it went again then came back after about an hour. Hopefully it was just a glitch during our stay

Lovely April stay

Lovely hotel, spacious room. We were lucky enough to get a lake view which was beautiful. Staff were friendly and attentive, we had decided to rent a car and could book parking easily at the time with the receptionist. Room was clean, however on a change of sheets there was some wet / damp bedding but didn’t bother us too much. Breakfast was decent, buffet style with plenty of options. Never got a chance to try the evening meals but menu looked extensive. Bar staff were great, bringing drinks out to the balcony. Balcony is beautiful, great spot for watching the lake and sunbathing. And a lovely spot for a dip!

Excellent location. We had a balcony room with jacuzzi. It was lovely being able to sit outside and have a glass of wine. Comfy bed with a separate cover each and good aircon.

Not enough furniture in the room to put clothes. We were there for a week so probably had more luggage than most people though. Mornings were noisy so difficult to sleep in. They could do with putting better privacy screening between the balconies and the terrace, where people eat dinner.

Wasn't sure about the shower and toilet in the living room. Beautiful room but felt a bit uncomfortable with toilet goings on with husband sitting on the sofa. Shower in living room also meant that you had to keep walking backwards and forwards to the bedroom through the living room to get undressed and dressed

Beautiful setting and very well positioned in Sirmione. Outlook on the lake is amazing. Breakfast was pleasant and the hotel in October was very quiet.

Everything was very Good . Clean rooms, good breakfast, great staff esp Slyvi at reception who could not do enough for us. Also walking from the Flamina we went to this fabulous restaurant on the lake called Bar de tower the best in sirmione . excellent food and the best service .

WiFi could have been better in rooms and some fans in reception as it was so hot.
