Great view and central to everything in Sirmione

All the staff was very nice ready to offer recommendations. We were able to check in early. The front desk was also able to coordinate a taxi and a private hire at very last-minute requests. Breakfast was also very good with many options. We had a lovely view from our balcony.

There is a little give and take with AC/Heat unit as it is controlled by the hotel. We stayed at the end of October, so the heat was the main setting which was perfectly fine during the day. The hotel tip was to open window if too hot. The room did get a little too warm for us at night, so we did open the window/door to the balcony. Since the hotel is centrally located, the noise level wasn't the most ideal with the door open.

Great location but noisy at night

Perfect location as it was on the water and beside the main Piazza. Beautiful area to enjoy a sunset drink, had an excellent breakfast, comfortable room and large shower.

Our room was unfortunately positioned above the restaurants in the Piazza, so if we left our windows open it was too noisy to be able to sleep. And the air conditioning is controlled by the hotel and is rarely on. So our room was quite hot and stuffy each night making it difficult to sleep.

A Room with a View

This hotel offers a very pleasant stay in a perfect location. The staff were excellent—friendly, attentive, and professional. Breakfast was also very good. The view from the room overlooking the lake was truly fantastic and added a special touch to the experience. Tip: make sure to use the Grifo parking!

Nice stay

The location was great

The lady at front desk was not helpful. When we asked her about activities at check in, she said there were none because of weather. She provided no alternatives. We found the public ferry by ourselves. It was right outside and provided a great way to see lake even in rain. On day before check out she only offered us ab 50 euro car. She did not know that bus outside Castie walls goes straight to train station with no changes. Also pictures make it look like there is a pool and there is not

Excellent location

Great location in centre of Sirmione. Right next to the ferry promenade so a 1 min walk to the ferry. Lovely sundeck overlooking the lake, beach towels provided. Beds comfy, modern bathrooms, very helpful staff. Would highly recommend.

Lovely little hotel. Great location close to ferry. Once the balcony door is closed you don’t hear any noise from the ferries.

Steps to get up and down into lake a bit high and the ladder is slippery and uncomfortable on the feet!

Great location, very busy in the adjacent area but we expected that. Hotel staff were very friendly and the hotel and room was very exceptionally clean. A great place to stay for a short stop in Sirmione in the height of the season.

A little slice of paradise

Beautiful little piece of paradise with fantastic views and access to the lake. Staff very helpful, particularly Elvis who had lots of great suggestions and recommendations. Special mention to Robert at the bar also, who kept hubby happy with cold coronas!

I wouldn't return to this hotel despite its location

The hotel's strong points are its location and its service. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was average, acceptable by Italian standards

The hotel is a bit run-down. Dirty wallpaper, a lizard running across the corridor ceiling, but the real highlight was being charged 10 euros for a bowl of water for my dog — something the waiter didn’t inform me about before bringing the water. I’ve never come across a place where you have to pay for water for your dog.

A must stay

The location is fantastic, right on the water. The rooms have Italian charm and are a good size. Staff are fabulous, nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast has a good range with strong coffee and you have the best view overlooking the lake. We used GrifoParking service which was so convenient and on time for pick up and drop off.

Could have been great but spoiled by air con not working

The room was a lovely size and nicely done. The view was amazing, The staff were lovely.Breakfast was very good.

The air con didn't work and it was really hot so couldn't sleep. Raised this with staff a lot but not really resolved. Very disappointing given how much we'd paid for the room. Felt they should have offered a partial refund, as would not have booked if had known air con not available. Also a sun parasol for the balcony would be a nice addition.

Incredible experience and really perfect if you are looking to relax and just explore around the castle and lake.

Room 203 was incredible for the view and sunset. Also loved the sofas out the back overlooking the lake. Great to relax on with a glass of wine.

Difficult to get to if you were driving as the roads are narrow and you need special access to get through the gates but luckily the hotel booked me a driver to the airport who was great!

Amazing birthday trip!

The staff are what make this hotel so amazing, they are all so helpful and kind and can’t do enough for you. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The location of the hotel is very good, it is in the centre of sirmione, close to restaurants, shops and the lakeside! Excellent breakfast.
