If I would go to Sirmione again, then would consider this hotel once again. Great experience.

The hotel has a nice garden and pool area. I liked the good breakfast. If travelling by car, then the location to the hotel is quite an impressive drive via the old town which is managed/supervised by the police with super narrow streets. That was a new experience.

Gorgeous hotel in superb location

Superb little hotel in a terriffic location set in greenery just a stone's throw from the buzz of Sirmione old town. The owner is lovely and the pool is an oasis after a long day sightseeing. Sirmione is super convenient for seeing the rest of the lake by boat.

Don't even think about bringing a car to Sirmione old town! Catch the boat from Desenzano instead at €3.

Lovely hotel

All the staff were amazing, happy to help. The bed was really comfy. Plenty of hot water. The pool was lovely.

It would have been nice to have a kettle in the room. Breakfast was ok but the cakes/muffins/croissants were dry which was a shame and limited the choices.

We have stayed in this hotel for many years. And will come back. This says it all.

Rooms are maybe a bit small but comfortable clean and each has a balcony. The view from the large beautiful garden is lovely, the pool is clean and refreshing and has a bar. The location is excellent because though it is in the historic center of Sirmione, is away from the crowds and very serene. The dining area is big and overlooking the lake, used not only for breakfast but dinner as well.

Fabulous hotel, cannot wait to go back.

This hotel was gorgeous. Set in park like gardens and do near to all the facilities. Lovely comfortable room either a fridge, safe and nice toiletries and a balcony. Breakfast was included in the price and was tasty either a great selection. The owner could not do enough for her guests and was very warm and welcoming. There is a restaurant on site and we dined there two nights and the food was delicious.

A lovely stay

The location of the hotel was fantastic, a quieter part of a very busy Sirmione but still only a 5 minute walk to central sirmione. The staff were lovely, especially Janika (the pool bar staff), he was very friendly and always made extra effort to accommodate us by the pool. The room was cleaned every day and there was Netflix on the tv. The lake view from our balcony was great also.

There wasn’t many options at breakfast and the quality of food in the hotel overall wasn’t great. Other than that, I couldn’t fault the hotel.

Not sure if she was the owner or staff but she was very friendly, had very good english and they were accommodating and even helped us book a taxi to the train station. Location was amazing, right in the centre of Sirmione, everything is walking distance.

A beautiful part of Italy, Hotel Mon Repos is a must if your staying in Sirmione

This has to be one of the best places we have ever stayed in Italy. Situated on a small peninsula Sirmione sits at the south end of Lake Garda. The area is beautiful with many wonderful views. Biased as we are having visited other towns on the lake we consider Sirmione the best for shopping and eating. Hotel Mon Repos is through the town up a small incline and away from the hustle and bustle and really peaceful and relaxing. Treat yourself to a room with a lake view and you won't be disappointed the views are spectacular. We ordered a pick up from the airport via reception and at 85 euros it was totally worth it due to the distance and getting through the small streets of the town. The staff were very friendly, easy to talk to and willing to help with any issue you may have. Our room was sufficient for out needs and equipped with everything we needed. The pool was great on an afternoon and the pool guy makes a mean mojito! Breakfast was continental to suit all needs and we ate dinner in the hotel once. The food was delicious. Sirmione is only a short walk away and crammed with good quality shops and plenty of eating establishments. The prices are fairly standard and for us not expensive, the staff are friendly and make you feel welcome. We took the ferry to Garda, Bardolino, Lazise and a taxi to Desenzano. You can go much further north to Limone and Malcesine (2 hour trip one way) but get to the ticket office early as there are limited spaces. All are nice with markets that move amongst them each day of the week but nevertheless we consider Sirmione the best. A really nice area to visit we would definitely recommend this wonderful place.

Occasionally we could people in adjoining rooms, however this in no way spoiled our experience.

Mon Repos is a perfect choice!

This splendid, romantic hotel is just outside the castle of Sirmione, in a wonderful garden full of olive trees. The room was very comfortable, with everything you could possibly need, and the lake view was fantastic. Also, the host, Giulia, is a very kind and cheerful person, always there to fulfill our needs. Also, the breakfast, served in the Lakeview restaurant, was excellent!We are coming back for sure!

The hotel is beautifully situated. It is highly recommended to book a room with a view of the lake, even if it is a bit more expensive. The staff was very friendly and you could even have breakfast in the room. Even though the rooms have the flair of the 80s, everything was well maintained so far.

You can park directly at the hotel, but then you have to drive through the pedestrian zone, which is a test of patience for me as a driver, but also for pedestrians. It would be better if there was a shuttle service to the parking spaces in front of the pedestrian zone.

The views were beautiful, a hidden treasure in Sirmione! The staff were very good & on arrival we were told to treat it as our home which was so lovely to hear 😊

the hotel is located at the end of the Sirmione peninsula - perfect for accessing one of my favourite beaches on lake Garda (Jamaica beach). The hotel is really nice, with spacious grounds. .. and not to forget about the delicious breakfast :-)

The location was amazing, peaceful beautiful gardens and a few minutes walk from stunning Jamaica beach. The town and all the shops were only a few minutes in the other direction. Breakfast was a big highlight! so tasty, generous and you could have it delivered to your room, eat in the aromatic herb garden or eat in the breakfast room - we loved it. The staff were welcoming, friendly and very helpful.
