No8 Barnfield

We only stayed for one night, but what a wonderful stay! Jack and his uncle had only been welcoming guests for three weeks when we visited, after spending over a year preparing the building. You can really see the care and effort they’ve put into every detail. The interiors are beautiful, and everything felt spotless, fresh and inviting. Our room was lovely, the bed incredibly comfortable, and the towels soft and fluffy. We even took our outdoor shoes off as we came in, and walking on those thick, soft carpets felt like such a treat! The whole place smelled lovely and immediately made us feel at home. There’s even a sauna and a cold shower for guests. Breakfast was delicious and filling, especially the overnight oats in little cups, which were such a handy and tasty touch. The snacks and refreshments were lovely too. What made our stay especially memorable, though, was the kindness of our hosts. Jack was so helpful, and when we needed a document printed for my partner’s exam, his uncle kindly printed it and brought it over to us. We really appreciated that. The friendly chats and relaxed atmosphere made everything feel so welcoming. We wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you, Jack and your uncle, for making our short visit so comfortable and special. We would happily stay again and thoroughly recommend it!

Nothing to fault. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

The property has been beautifully renovated. We were very comfortable in our spacious bedroom and en suite bathroom. We had everything we needed with our water kettle and refrigerator. We also enjoyed sitting in the garden and listening to the birds.

Location, bed was so comfortable, room was stunning, and exceptionally clean, staff were welcoming, and helpful.

Friendly staff. Good position.

Oh Dear. The Hotel needs to close for refurbishment.
