I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel perfect for what I required for a business overnight stay.

I liked the location. It was easy to park. The staff were very friendly, the food was quick to be served. The room was big and very clean and comfortable. There was no noise.

I would have liked to have known that there was on site parking that needed to be paid for.

Perfect long weekend at the Holiday Inn.

Wonderful staff, so friendly and helpful. Comfy beds, great free hot breakfasts, bar, easy to find. We walked into the centre of town within 10 minutes every day. Would defintely book again.

Excellent City stay.!

Everything as room was smart and had everything we needed.

Parking is £16 per 24 hours however is on site and convenient. Breakfast options didn’t have hot chocolate and porridge as advertised.

It was ok for one night,

Staff extremely friendly, great location

Breakfast was very limited, not much choice and especially for gluten free. Both my children not celiac disease and all it was for them : poor bread, sausage and cornflakes. Breakfast was included in room price and all the rest of the guests had lots to choose from. In comparison to other places where we stayed gluten free breakfast was very poor. And tbh unfair, especially that I informed hotel before our arrival.

The breakfast was very good and there was a good choice. The staff were very nice and helpful and the room was comfortable with a good view.

From the location it wasn't very easy to get public transport to other parts of Exeter and other areas. Also, there weren't many places nearby for an evening meal.

Great location, easy walk in to shops etc, quiet, clean. Roomy shower was clean and nice to use with no leaks, with decent toietries! Friendly, helpful staff. Good breakfast, if a little busy.. Sofa bed made up for us when we got there. Decent, clean bed linen.

Room was small for a family, sidling round beds with no floor space. Tiny shelf was v narrow for a kettle and only 2 cups. Worst thing was the pillows which were awful. Hard, lumpy and v uncomfortable. Would easily have scored an 8 if they had decent pillows.

Everything,rude staff , I pay 16£/night for the parking and one night I couldn’t find a space to park and they told me from the reception wait someone will leave soon(!) the room was extra small the cleaning was poor the room was dirty…

Overall experience was very good!

The shower and bed was very comfortable and clean.

Long queue for the coffee machine. You need to two coffee machine to avoid the queues. No Electric charger available in the parking.

Breakfast very crowded, and ran out of scrambled egg on one day. Room 113 ; Fitting for activating lights with room keycard faulty. We had to request help on one occasion; from this we learnt that the fault can be temporarily fixed by thumping the fitting with a fist! Drainage plug in the bathroom sink not functioning correctly

Breakfast busy of course but staff charming and efficient. The team works well. Reception gentleman put us at our ease as we arrived a bit hassled. Parking sorted and excellent help with a restaurant.

Breakfast was OK - nothing spectacular. Room was excellent, good value for money and spotlessly clean. Lounge doubles as a breakfast area and bar. Not very comfortable for a late night drink, but adequate. Location is good for local amenities.

Breakfast made an attempt at a cooked breakfast, but fell short. Watery scrambled eggs, dubious sausages. Hash browns were good though. For the price paid, I would have preferred a more comprehensive continental style buffet.

Exceeded my expectations!

Excellent vegan options for breakfast, staff lovely and friendly, location very central. Dog friendly room was immaculate and a lovely welcome bag for dog with some treats etc, nice touch! Pleasantly surprised as a 'budget hotel' it exceeded our expectations! Would definitely stay again and recommend!

The room was pleasantly decorated and clean. Staff were very obliging and helpful. There was a good selection for breakfast, which was fresh well presented.

Chairs in the breakfast room were very stained and need changing. The onsight cost of parking is too expensive at £16 per night. I felt it was a bit of a ripoff.
