Hey Wanted to firstly say thank you for your reply, much appreciated. We are leaving today and have had a lovely stay. Over the years we have stayed in a lot of hotels and were excited to stay here mainly due to location and the room itself so I do feel like I should give you some feedback on the room. My partner does suffer from some allergies and has sneezed the whole time consistently, we couldn’t work out what it was but having dropped the remote on the floor it fell under the bed. I have attached a picture it is full, really full of dust! I’m not complaining I’m letting you know as it’s not nice. Also for future the room is 604, I couldn’t get the side lights on the mirror to work or connect to the tv to cast. We bought milk as I was surprised to see you only have the carton milk. All the little touches that other hotels get right. Thanks for listening and for your kind words. Again I’m not complaining just giving you some thoughts. Thank you. Room was nice and comfortable bed. Well decorated. Breakfast waiting time was terrible! Had to walk out as couldn’t wait any longer, but waited 25 minutes for some scrambled eggs! Not even that busy!

Our best experience of hotels in Exeter. Lovely atmosphere in the lounge area and staff were very helpful. Our room was clean and the layout and style is really good. Nice to see that the shampoo , soap etc are not bolted down. Would definite go back when the opportunity arises

Room was extremely well presented and clean. The entire stay was perfect. The only downside was the breakfast and the fact that the restaurant seem to only have one coffee machine and it took a long time waiting for coffee.

Beautiful hotel in an amazing location right in the centre and close to the cathedral. Exceptionally clean room witha lovely walk in shower. Will stay again for sure when we come next time to Exeter. Staff were lovely too.

I stayed here 2 weeks ago and have been trying to find someone go help me ever since. I left a gold bracelet in my room. Let them know immediately and since the. I have called, emailed, messaged on Instagram, filed a complaint and nothing. Unbelievably horrible way to treat a fellow human. Let alone a guest. Hope you’re enjoying wearing my jewellery whoever you are 😣

Clean bedding and towels. Not so much around dusting and polishing surfaces, phones and TV remotes. You can tell the rooms are turned around very quickly ready for the next guess rather than paying any attention to detail.

We were disappointed with our stay. There didn’t appear to be enough staff to manage the number of guests. We waited over 25 minutes to check in, with only one person on reception. After going to our room, we encountered an issue and had to return to reception, only to find no one at the desk. I asked for assistance at the bar and waited another 10 minutes before someone arrived. Breakfast was also a letdown due to the same staffing issues. We were seated at a table in a high-traffic walkway and asked to move to one of the empty tables further inside the restaurant. Unfortunately, we were told this wasn’t possible as they were seating the walkway first. The food itself was average—nothing special. While the hotel’s decor is quite nice, the overall experience didn’t meet expectations. I would rate the hotel 3 stars

Very lovely stay in Exeter for 2 nights at the start of our Devon/Cornwall trip. Friendly staff! Great spa with a deal for hotel guests. The breakfast was wonderful, too. Right in the middle of everything. We will stay here again without even looking elsewhere if we come back this way. We loved Exeter!

Nicely refurbished hotel, friendly staff. Colsons bar wasn't stocked very well and the bar staff didn't know how to make cocktails. £30 for a dog to stay for 1 night is so expensive. For that price I was expecting some treats in the room, dog bowl etc like in other hotels, but nothing.

The hotel is beautiful. We couldn’t fault the room. The lobby is also lovely. The only issue we had was the spa. We found it quite unclean and the hot tubs quite grimy. We mentioned to staff who were lovely but the condition was the same the next day. The hot tubs were also starting to get in poor condition.

The overall services (restaurant, breakfast) were disappointing in comparison to the last time we stayed. “Sorry, it’s grad week” was the refrain, but why not staff up in anticipation? Our room should have had twin beds, which it didn’t. Then there was little effort to help separate the mattresses, and while everyone was polite, the services were inconsistent and the food sub par for both directions one and breakfast.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Indigo, it was the perfect setting for a relaxing couples’ getaway. The boutique feel, stylish decor, and cozy atmosphere made it feel both luxurious and intimate. Our room was spotless, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable, with thoughtful touches that really added to the experience. The staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. The location was ideal for exploring, but also offered a peaceful retreat when we wanted to unwind. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and are already looking forward to coming back!

Excellent location, no parking on site but there is a multi storey car park a short walk away. Rooms are spacious with everything you need and the rooftop bar is good if a little understaffed at busy times. Breakfast was good and the service couldn’t be faulted
