It was good value for money and good location.

Smell of weed in the corridor and guests sat on wall near the accommodation entrance were quite intimidating as a lone guest.

You get what you pay for!!

The room was nicely decorated and had everything you would expect.

As soon as you walked in to the building it smelt of damp, the room smelt really badly, the floor was spongy and the bedroom door was hanging off, you had to try and lift the opening side to get it to close. The beds are zip linked beds which wasn’t a problem, but in morning the sheet had come off to reveal that my side of bed had a matress protector and my wife’s didn’t, see attached pic. Woman in charge of breakfast was not very nice, no pleasantries and the breakfast its self was very big standard, no pastries and filter coffee or Nescafé sachet.

Cheap stay, but not a good room

The photos must have been taken ten years ago because the rooms are nowhere near as nice as advertised. Very shabby and dirty. There was a constant sewage smell from the bathroom and the room smelt musty and damp. The floor creaked all over when walking on it and there was a lot of noise from the hallway due to a big gap all around the door. Cleaners came into our room when we weren't there which we didn't want but there was no sign for the door. The bed is uncomfortable and the pillows are hard and smelt musty. The rooms definitely need some maintenance and updating. The lamp was broken and the shower hose.was broken and leaking. Cheap stay but wouldn't stay here again, not even worth the low price paid

Rooms are nice, the rest is passable.

Room size was good. The bathroom was nice and the decor in the room good. Liked the 2 x plug sockets on each side of the bed as at some hotels they're on one side and not the other, or across the room. Parking was plentiful and free, which is something we looked for!

The communal areas such as the corridor are in need of refurbishing. These looked tired and worn. The restaurant is of an ok standard, but at breakfast, they need to wash their plates properly before putting them out, as they ALL had tiny little little bits of food stuck to them. But to be fair, our stay was okay and the price included breakfast and parking, so it was good value overall. I think it's just a case of setting your expectations accordingly. It's definitely not somewhere to go for a romantic getaway, but it is functional and value for money. We would book again.

Bargin for a last min booking nicer than a premier inn ,, inside and free parking

Location was good for are needs and being connected to a Toby carvery

Needed to change rooms due to overwhelming smell of drains. Could only contact staff on telephone Went for breakfast couldn't locate staff 2nd room slight smell of damp with black mold in bathroom. Was awoken at 5.45 with excessive noise outside

Food exceptional. Really handy for ferry at Plymouth.

I arrived after 10pm and couldn’t get inside. Pub door locked and lights were out and I couldn’t find entrance of hotel and in torrential rainstorm. I nearly gave up but cleaning lady let me in. Sat nav took me very strange way - I wasted 30 minutes going round an industrial park. Room was outdated.

Long weekend

Accommodation was very clean and tidy, and I absolutely loved the shower. Gel smelt amazing, I wrote the name of it down, so I buy some . Food was great, generous portion sizes. The staff were very friendly and very busy.

There was a lot of noise in the corridor from other visitors, who obviously have no consideration for others.

Room was “tired” - needing updating. Not enough staff:- left two messages for a call back before my stay, neither returned; at breakfast, no-one to greet us and when we hadn’t followed the process we knew nothing about we were spoken to in a curt manner by the front of house lady.
